A 28-year-old woman from Astrakhan has her fourth child
“I have been working as an obstetrician for twenty years, but such a child is being born for the first time in my memory,” Tatyana Chikina, chief physician of the Astrakhan Clinical Maternity Hospital, does not hide her surprise and delight.
Still - the weight of the newborn is 6970 grams, the height is 70 centimeters. Ordinary children reach this weight by 4-5 months of age. As the head doctor smiles, the boy is so big that he can hardly fit into a crib for newborns.
On the evening of June 3, a 28-year-old resident of the Liman District, Julia Ryndina, gave birth to a son-hero. This is her fourth child. Moreover, all the babies were born quite large.
To be more precise, Julia has three sons: the firstborn is already nine years old and he was born weighing 5 and a half kilos, the second is now 5 years old - he was born weighing 6700 grams, the third son was born 6100 grams, today he is three years old.
- We ourselves are not small: my height is 185 centimeters, my husband is almost two meters, and both are not thin. So we have a whole family of heroes, - the woman in labor laughs. “But the youngest, of course, surpassed all his brothers.
For childbirth, as the doctor notes, they prepared in advance. Such a weight is difficult to predict, but they knew that the fetus would be large. Childbirth took place by caesarean section.
- Of course, there were several obstetricians in the operating room for safety reasons. Fortunately, everything turned out well. The mother and the child feel well, the baby has no abnormalities, - states the chief physician of the Clinical Maternity Hospital of Astrakhan.
