Most of the most shocking extraterrestrial contacts have taken place in North America. One of these took place on the night of August 21-22, 1955. Many have heard about this story, but today it has been forgotten. Its main defendants are the Sutton family of farmers.

It all started normally

Friends from neighboring houses, Billy Ray and June Taylor, as well as people whose names have not been preserved in the sources, turned up to visit the Sutton family of farmers. In total, there were eight adults and three children at the Suttons' home that evening. The adults were having fun at dinner, drinking and having fun. At the time, children played in a separate room. Suddenly the loud and frantic barking of the Suttons' dog was heard in the street.

A minute later, the dog, frightened by something, was scratching loudly at the door, hoping that the good-natured owners would let him home. Billy Ray, mentioned above, decided to find out the reason for such strange behavior of the previously calm courtyard guard.

He went outside, automatically glancing at the clock, which showed 19.00 in the evening. After some time, he returned and reported that in the sky he saw a bright luminous object that illuminated the entire nearby plain. Ray also said that the UFO had landed near the house, but those present did not take his words seriously.

The rebellious Ray tried to persuade the owner of the house to go with him and see for himself everything. By that time, the dog had already calmed down, so the company decided to continue the dinner. But this could not be done, since the Suttons soon heard someone walking under the windows. The strangest thing is that this time the dog was silent, not noticing the presence of "guests".

The men decided to independently check what was walking under the windows, but in a crowd. Taking their guns with them, they went out into the street, after which they were dumbfounded from what they saw. Before them stood an unknown creature with a terrifying thing, vaguely resembling a human. His height did not exceed a meter, his body was hairless and glowed faintly, his large head was decorated with huge pointed ears. The alien's eyes looked especially expressive - yellow, large, with dark green pupils. His limbs were slender, with long fingers ending in a kind of fingernail.

Contact with aliens can be very unpleasant

The creature moved towards the men, to which they fled. Only near the door itself did they remember the rifles they carried in their hands, and began to shoot at the alien. Several bullets hit him, but they did not harm him, but only threw them away, after which the alien ran towards his ship.

Frightened and dumbfounded, the men woke up after hearing the cry of a child from the nursery. They rushed to the rescue and saw that practically the same creature was peering through the window in the nursery. The men opened fire again, but after that they did not find the body, so they realized that human weapons did not damage the aliens.

There was a temporary lull. Friends decided to go out into the courtyard to check if they thought what was happening. When they left, they did not notice anything, but then a bony paw protruding from the roof grabbed Billy's hair.

Lucky grabbed Billy by the clothes and tugged hard, pulling him away from his bony paw. The men ran into the house. For some time they heard someone walking on the roof, scratching it with their claws.

Sutton (the owner of the house) was indignant, because he could not understand why the aliens attacked his house. In a rage, he decided to end them and again went out into the street. This time he saw several strange, disgusting creatures on the roof, who were staring at him as intently as he was at them. Sutton, without hesitation, opened fire on the aliens, but the bullets did not take them. Moreover, the shots did not even disturb the guests from another planet. They freely continued to walk on the roof, periodically looking into the windows.

The nightmare did not stop for three hours, after which the friends decided to flee

The Sutton family with friends and children went to the police station, which was located nearby, more precisely in Hopkinsville. The local district police officer had to listen to verbal incontinence, simultaneously escaping from the mouths of children, women and adult men. In the end, the cop ordered a patrol to be sent to the Sutton house.

The police who arrived at the scene did not find anything. They found only a huge number of shell casings, after which they drove back to the police station. Friends of the Suttons went home, as they were greatly exhausted by what had happened. The family members also lay down to rest, but yellow eyes sparkled in the windows again.

All night long the Suttons could not sleep a wink. They watched the aliens walk around their yard and house, but they could not do anything about it. By morning, everything had stopped. Not even a trace remained of the alien monsters.

Fairy tale or reality?

After that night, the Suttons reported the incident to the media. Reporters from all over the world came to them, wishing to be the first to interview eyewitnesses of a real UFO. Many at the time believed that the Suttons simply made up the whole story in order to draw public attention to the long-forgotten settlement in which they lived. It should also be noted that in the 40s of the twentieth century it was fashionable to become eyewitnesses of UFOs.

Of course, the story may be fictional, but it's hard to believe in this, considering that in the future the above-described family began to have serious problems with others. Children of the Suttons were teased at school, adults were tried to bypass, considering them crazy. Such consequences could be foreseen. Perhaps it would be better not to tell the media about the meeting with representatives of extraterrestrial civilizations. But a person in a state of passion will not think about such trifles.
