Since the beginning of the UFO era, the main hypothesis has been the idea that UFOs and their pilots come to Earth from other planets, where the civilizations of intelligent beings have reached a very high level.
most ufologists are of the opinion that the intentions of the aliens are the most benevolent. They simply follow the level of our development, and when the time comes, they will accept earthlings into the "intergalactic federation". Or maybe they are just watching so that we do not destroy ourselves in the process of world nuclear wars.
As for orthodox Christianity, the clerics cannot offer any plausible hypothesis regarding the origin of UFOs, they do not even speak unequivocally about the possibility of extraterrestrial life. However, some Christian denominations, in particular the American Protestants in the person of Dr. Billy Graham, put forward an interesting hypothesis that the angels who were sent to us by God travel on UFOs.
This idea is shared by Presbyterian Priest Barry Downing, author of Flying Saucers and the Bible. Downing writes: "Angels are sent to us to fight demons on the eve of the Second Coming of Christ."
In 2002, Downing appeared on the popular CNN program, where he argued that the apocalypse would occur in the next fifty years, and that the invasion of flying saucers was just evidence of this.
There is another version that Satan travels on UFOs together with demons. This idea is spelled out by John Weldon and Zola Levitt in their book UFOs: What's Happening on Earth ?, and by Dr. Clifford Wilson in UFOs - Mission Impossible.
The last work was even filmed by one of the Hollywood studios, although the tape had no commercial success. Weldon, Levitt, and Wilson also believe that a great battle is coming between the forces of Good and the forces of Evil, and the demons are grouping to fight Christ.
The increased incidence of abduction is nothing more than an attempt by the Antichrist to steal human souls. Reports of sperm and eggs being taken from abductors, as well as cases of women giving birth from aliens, indicate that Satan is trying to create a hybrid race. The creatures obtained as a result of the interbreeding of demons and humans must become obedient soldiers of the Antichrist in the decisive battle with God.

Former US Department of Defense employee Gordon Clayton added fuel to the fire. Major Clayton at one time on duty dealt with the UFO phenomenon and the Roswell incident.
In an interview made shortly before his death in 2000, the retired major said: “The UFO mystery is more a matter of religious philosophy than a military threat from outer space. I am sure that intelligent beings from other planets, if they exist at all, have not reached us yet."
In 1938, Clayton served as a sailor on a military cruiser. During a stopover at a Pacific American base, Gordon contracted tropical fever and spent three months delirious.
Visions constantly appeared in his inflamed brain - apocalyptic wars and demons on "plates" very similar to those that appeared in 1947 in Roswell. “Their goal was not to give the souls of the righteous into the hands of God,” this is how the young sailor interpreted his hallucinations. Major Clayton is sure that during his illness there was a struggle for his soul, the demons tried to make him their servant, but they failed.
Some contactees give very characteristic descriptions of aliens. Mary Kay, an English housewife, described her phenomenal experience as follows:
“On November 17, 1998, I returned home at three in the afternoon. The first thing I saw was a strange circle on the lawn near the house. Inside a circle three meters in diameter, the grass turned yellow and was wet. Upon entering the house, I smelled a strange smell, similar to the smell of incense. In the next moment, an unusual feeling gripped me - a feeling of elation, euphoria, happiness, peace. I saw a creature in long white robes with long blond hair. A translucent halo shone around his head, and translucent wings were visible behind his back. "Angel!" - the thought came to my mind. “Do not be afraid, Mary, everything will be all right with you,” was heard in my mind.
There are other similar testimonies from contactees. But there is also evidence that suggests that people dealt with demons or with some kind of creatures who fell into our world from hell.
François Mercier, a twenty-year-old driver from Strasbourg, described his supernatural experience:
“I went into the garage, it seemed to me that there was someone there. The room had a disgusting smell, like the stench of a stray dog. I did not immediately notice that some animal was lurking in the corner. So I thought at the beginning. He got up and walked over to me. The creature was hairy and had an elongated head, with a strange headdress on its head, something like a helmet. “Come with me,” said the hairy creature. In the next instant, I heard a comrade call me from the street. The creature jumped and spun in place. I suddenly felt weak and passed out. When I woke up, my friend Andre was bending over me. The hairy creature in the helmet disappeared."
According to the French ufologist Jacques Valli, Francois met a demon who came to take his soul. This meeting took place in October 2001. It was at that time that in the sky over the suburbs of Strasbourg, the locals observed many unidentified flying objects, most of them were triangular in shape and appeared in the predawn hours.
Valli believes that demons have been on Earth for a long time. They are busy selecting people who are genetically suitable for interbreeding with demons. Representatives of the hybrid race will become slaves to demons and will commit violence against people, incite wars and political unrest, so that it would be easier for Satan to seize power over the world.
Activists of the British ufological organization BUFORA also adhere to the demonic version of the origin of UFOs. Former BUFORA chairman Randall Pug investigated the 1987 mass deaths and strange "surgical" injuries to livestock in West Wales.
Luminous balls hovering in the sky, mysterious creatures dressed in silvery suits peeping into the windows of local farmers' houses, dead cows with their genitals cut out, teleportation of animals from one part of the farm to another - this was what the researcher had to deal with. All these phenomena testify, according to Pug, that supernatural devilish creatures fly on UFOs, whose goal is to seize power over people.
