The last tourist season in the Czech town of Sovinec was marked with an interesting novelty.

Every Saturday from July to September, the ghost of the White Lady, the most famous ghost in the Czech Republic, led a tour of the Rozmberk Castle located here. A night tour of the castle, historical costumes and a chilling ghost story have attracted tens of thousands of tourists to Rosenberg. In front of the castle there is an announcement that an excursion is not recommended for too impressionable and nervous people, which further fuels the interest of visitors.

Legend has it that the White Lady - her name was Perchtoy - was born in 1429 in the family of the famous Rozmberks from Cesky Krumlov. When the girl turned 20, her domineering father forcibly gave her in marriage. Perkhta's spouse, Yan, turned out to be a cruel man, and, unable to withstand the beatings and bullying, the girl decided to return to her native castle. However, her father did not let her back. Perkhta was forced to live with her husband and endure his abuse. Before his death, he repented and began to ask for forgiveness from his wife, but she was adamant. And then Yang shouted: "So that you have no peace even in the coffin!" Soon Perkhta died too, and three years later the mysterious White Lady began to appear in all the castles that belonged to the Rosenberg.

Tourists not only descended into the underground, crypts and the most hidden corners of the ancient fortress, but also tried to help her find her shoe, lost here many centuries ago. The winners were promised an original prize.
