In one of the photographs sent from the Red Planet by the Curiosity rover, virtual archaeologists have discovered a perfect "stone circle" that has raised a lot of questions and speculations.
For example, the hunter for Martian and other space anomalies, ufologist Tyler Glockner, who hosts the popular SecureTeam10 channel on the YouTube video hosting, called this stone formation an exciting find, because, in his opinion, this mysterious circle does not look like a crater, it is clearly man-made, or built by sentient beings, or being the remains of a destroyed building.
Many Internet users agreed with him, because the "stone circle" is actually something special against the background of the familiar Martian landscape - well, it does not fit into it. Some kind of Martian well, some speculate. Gas station, others say.
Leila Chester added that there are many such mysterious formations not only on Mars, but also on the Moon, but this does not in any way concern NASA employees and other orthodox space explorers. Why? Maybe they know a lot more than all of us, the girl asks.
However, as always, there were also skeptics who did not find anything supernatural in the ideal “stone circle”. In their opinion, nature can create something different, for example, this “ring” may well be the remains of a volcanic bomb or a large stone that collapsed over time.
No, Internet user Eric Hansen argues to skeptics, such a formation is clearly artificial, and the comments challenging this obvious fact are very similar to the responses of NASA employees. Maybe they now react like this to the findings of virtual archaeologists, hiding behind invented names?..
