Ufologists and conspiracy theorists around the world again recall Alyoshenka, also known as the "Kyshtym dwarf". The tiny body of a mysterious humanoid was discovered in May 1996 in the village of Kaolinovy, not far from Kyshtym, Chelyabinsk region, and then was lost under unexplained circumstances.
Police found the miniature body in May 1996 near the town of Kyshtym in the Chelyabinsk region. Its owner was a local pensioner Tamara Vasilievna Prosvirina, who at that time was in a psychiatric clinic.
Prosvirina said that in May 1996, voices in her head called her to the local cemetery. There she found a small creature. She took him home, called him Alyoshenka, and looked after him like a child.
The news that Prosvirina had a child flew around the village, and some local residents claim that they also saw Alyoshenka. However, due to the exacerbation of schizophrenia, Prosvirina was hospitalized in a psychiatric hospital. She tried to report that she had a child at home who needed to be fed, but the doctors considered her statements to be crazy. The creature left without help, some time later, died of hunger. After his death, Prosvirina's neighbor Vladimir Nurdinov went to her house and took the body, which had managed to be mummified.
Police stumbled upon the alien's mummy during a search at Nurdinov's house, suspected of possessing a stolen electrical cable.
The police handed over the alien's body to local experts for examination. What subsequently happened to the body remains a mystery to this day, since it was lost after being sent to Moscow for further study. According to conspiracy theorists, the body was kidnapped by the special services to hide its existence.
According to the stories circulating among ufologists and conspiracy theorists, local medical workers examined the body of the Kyshtym alien, and came to the conclusion that the creature was neither human nor animal, but most likely a hitherto unknown form of life.

However, skeptics call this story an urban legend, appealing to science. At the Vavilov Institute of General Genetics in Moscow, they analyzed the traces left on the tissue in which the creature was wrapped. According to an official statement released on April 15, 2004, DNA tests showed that the body belonged to a human fetus between 20 and 25 weeks old, female with severe developmental defects. Experts also argue that the fetus could not have survived on its own for more than a few hours.
This statement is contradicted by the stories of local residents that at least three people saw Prosvirina's child alive and that he died of hunger after Prosvirina was hospitalized. At the same time, local authorities accuse residents of inventing fantastic stories for foreign journalists.
Supporters of Alyoshenka's alien origin believe that the authorities deliberately organized the disappearance of the body and years later provided fake analysis results. According to the stories of local residents, before being sent to Moscow, the body was examined by a team of local scientists led by an expert on anatomy of diseases, Dr. Stanislav Samoshkin, and came to the conclusion that it did not belong to a person. The team's report notes that the creature's skull consisted of only 4 bones, while the human skull consists of six. There were also some other anomalies in the skeleton that could not be explained by congenital developmental defects. Anatomists note that the general features of the 20-centimeter creature, including a large head and eyes that occupy most of the face, were not human.

Vadim Chernobrov, a Russian explorer of extraterrestrial civilizations from the Cosmopoisk organization, who saw the body in Moscow before its disappearance, concluded that it was of extraterrestrial origin. Speaking later at the conference, Chernobrov said that according to the results of a preliminary genetic analysis, the Kyshtym alien is not human. “The gene found in the DNA sample does not match any of the genes in humans or apes. None of the samples available in the laboratory are suitable. Experts in genetics have never met such a long DNA molecule before."
Many of the supporters of Alyoshenka's extraterrestrial origin believe that the body was abducted by the special services in order to avoid further analyzes in an independent laboratory, which could confirm his belonging to a different world. However, there are those who believe that his fellow tribesmen took him, as well as supporters of the version that the body was sold to the private collection of a rich collector of oddities. All efforts to find the body have failed, despite the Japanese TV show's promised $ 200,000 premium for information.
After the disappearance of the body, rumors spread that it was cursed, and that people involved in this story are dying under mysterious circumstances. The first victim was Tamara Prosvirina, who died in an accident in 1999. Next comes the scientist Mark Milkiker who studied the body, who fell ill and died of a heart attack. Rumors also circulated about the mysterious death of the paranormal researcher Chernobrov from Cosmopoisk.
But, according to conspiracy theorists, these stories were launched by the authorities in order to intimidate independent researchers interested in finding the missing body.
