Video: 11 RAREST Completely PINK Animals In The World! 2024, May
Anonim

Albinos, that is, animals completely without color (white) are found among many species of animals and birds, but among dolphins you can see not only white, but also pink specimens. True, this is such a rare occurrence that every time a person meets a pink dolphin, it becomes a small miracle.

It is such a rare, and therefore surprising, meeting that took place the other day in the American shipping channel (Louisiana). The Bordeaux couple were traveling on a cruise ship, when suddenly Bridget saw a group of dolphins briskly jumping out of the water and happily diving into it again. It was a delightful sight in itself.

However, it was not even this playfulness of toothed whales that struck the woman and prompted her to grab the video camera right there - there were two pink dolphins among them. This is what the woman told the reporters of Khou TV, giving them videos and photographs of this rare phenomenon:

At that moment I almost fell overboard in surprise, because my husband and I were just taking a boat ride. I immediately grabbed a video camera and began to shoot dolphins, and my husband tried to keep up with the ship, near which the whales were frolicking, so that I could capture this picture as best as possible. However, no matter how hard I tried, I could not catch two pink dolphins in the lens at once, they seemed to laugh at me, jumping out of the water in turn - one after the other. Together I saw them only at the beginning, when I had not yet had time to pick up the apparatus. But here's what I will note: videos and photos cannot convey that beauty, that admiration that you feel when you see all this with your own eyes.

Let's clarify that in Louisiana pink dolphins are rare, but they have met before, that is, Bridget Boudreaux (Bridget Boudreau) with her husband were not the first witnesses of this "little miracle". So, captain Eric Rue (Eric Roux) in 2015 told the press that he again met a pink bottlenose dolphin named Pinky (Pinky), whom he "met" back in 2007. And one more thing: one of the pink dolphins is located in the dolphinarium of Thailand, to admire which tens of thousands of tourists come here every year.

But in general, pink-toothed whales are the rarest phenomenon in the world, scientists do not even know why such an anomaly in the dolphin's color occurs, most likely due to a mutation. It is no coincidence that Bridget Boudreau's video became popular on the Internet, causing not only delight, but even fantastic assumptions: if a pink dolphin is swimming in the sea, then a pink elephant or a pink hippopotamus must be running somewhere in the jungle …
