A boy with a large deformed head went to the United States for surgery after anonymous financial aid
A two-year-old Pakistani boy, Ibtisam Faisal, was born with a deformed head due to craniosynostosis (imbalance in the shape of the head), and then also suffered complications due to hydrocephalus (accumulation of fluid in the skull).
His head was uneven and 73 cm in circumference, and because of this, he could not begin to walk and sleep normally. The child was bedridden.
After examining the boy, Pakistani doctors said that only an expensive operation in the United States could help him. The child's parents announced a fundraiser for the trip, and a few months later someone anonymously donated a large sum for the boy's treatment. It was enough for the trip to Dallas and for the operation.
In March 2017, Ibtisam underwent two surgeries, which reduced the volume of his head to 61 cm. In the future, he will have more surgeries, including correcting the shape of the skull.
The boy's mother has another child, a twin brother of Ibtisam, and she laments that it is very difficult to be a parent whose one child is healthy and the other is sick and requires all attention, to communicate with normal emotions with one child and be in constant anxiety and worry for another. She also praises her husband, who helps her care for the sick boy every day.

Laraib Faisal gave birth to two twin boys in July 2015. One of the children was completely healthy, and in the second, everyone immediately noticed something abnormal with his head. His head began to swell due to fluid buildup and the local doctors couldn't help it. They said that only an operation abroad would help.
Laraib Faisal began looking for the addresses of various clinics that would deal with similar diseases and after many correspondence with different doctors, she found Dr. Jeffrey Feron from a clinic in Dallas. After that, they began to collect funds for the trip and surgery for the child.
When an anonymous person contacted the parents and said that he would give money for a trip to the United States and even for an operation, their happiness did not end.
Since the boy still has surgery, his parents continue to raise money for his treatment and hope for another miracle.
