Video: What Did Scientists Really See In The Mariana Trench? 2024, May
Anonim

In the most mysterious on our planet, the Mariana Trench, the underwater vehicle recorded a strange sound, very passable for a moan. And although this fantastic "sigh of a monster" lasted only three seconds, it is striking its very low tone within the frequency of 38 Hz - 7.5 kHz, and also very similar to the voice of a living creature.

Researchers of the ocean depths recorded this "groan" near Guam. They claim that something similar was already recorded in the area in the fall of 2014 and the spring of 2015. And this year, the sound began to repeat itself throughout the year, and underwater instruments record it not only at such low frequencies, as demonstrated by the last recording (see and listen below), but also at very high frequencies, which is not typical, for example, for whales (it was on them that the first suspicion fell).

True, as scientists stipulate, minke whales can talk to each other in high-pitched sounds, however, these whales communicate in this way only in winter - during mass mating. And here, all year round, someone groans under the water … In any case, the voice of the minke whales bears little resemblance to the one that is heard from the depths of the Mariana Trench.

So who (or what) makes such creepy sounds there? Another mystery from many others that our planet is full of …
