- They were kept in the Special Archive of the KGB of the USSR. In the fall of 1991, a group of people came to the building on Lubyanka with a written order from Russian President Boris Yeltsin "to allow access to the KGB archives and to issue all documents to the bearers in accordance with the list." Regardless of vultures and zeros of secrecy. As it turned out, these were people from a certain sect or the Bnei-Brit order. At that time, by the decision of Mikhail Gorbachev, they were “registered” in the south-west of Moscow. The second group with the same mandate burst into the territory of the Research Institute of the KGB of the USSR.
Both groups had a detailed list of documents that they had to seize. But the most valuable and secret part of the documents the KGB were able to take out and divide. I was given the opportunity to get acquainted with them and work. So little got into the book. But most of it remains to be studied.

- Absolutely! I worked for too long in the central office of the Ministry of Defense, including in the office of the Minister of Defense of the USSR Dmitry Fedorovich Ustinov, not to know the subtleties of processing secret documents inaccessible to ordinary clerks. So I am sure that they were written at that time and by the departments that are indicated on them.

- In the book you give copies of the case, including the interrogations of Yakov Blumkin. Why was the fate of the Odessa swindler, the left Socialist-Revolutionary, the murderer of the German ambassador Mirbach, who also served in the Cheka-OGPU, so suddenly needed the "newcomers"?
- Official and semi-official sources say that Yakov Blumkin was convicted unlawfully and shot in 1929. Subsequently rehabilitated. And from the documents of the case it follows that he received two and a half million dollars from German intelligence, transferred secret information to the Japanese and by that time Leon Trotsky, expelled from Soviet Russia. That is, being an employee of the special services, he simply sold state secrets to the right and left. For this he was shot.
What kind of secrets did the young Soviet regime have that interested German intelligence so much that it dumped two million dollars - an insane amount at that time?
- He not only served in the Cheka-OGPU, he served in the top-secret department of Gleb Bokiy. He was an adjutant for special assignments with Trotsky. This is probably why he was amnestied after the provocative assassination of the German ambassador. He was also obliged to be close to Trotsky by being appointed head of the Soviet scientific expedition to Tibet, which took place in 1925. The purpose of the expedition was to search for the "city of the gods" and obtain information about the technologies of previously unknown weapons. For this purpose, starving Russia gave him 100 thousand rubles in gold. In the book, I give the details of his interrogations and explanations: why the poorly educated Socialist-Revolutionary Blumkin was able not only to lead a unique expedition, but also to bring unique material from there.
He sold part of it to the Japanese, transferred a huge layer of documentation to German intelligence and shared something with his mentor, the "demon of world revolution" Trotsky. The latter, as the researchers suggest, also traded in secrets obtained from Blumkin. Moreover, both with the Americans and the British (is it not from here that the legs of the so-called "Manhattan Project" grow?), And with the Germans. By the way, on the basis of these documents, the Nazis organized several of their expeditions to Lhasa (the capital of Tibet), created a wide intelligence network there and downloaded information until May 1945. By the way, several Tibetan monks were at Hitler's headquarters throughout the war. It is not clear only - voluntarily or as hostages. So Blumkin is a classic traitor.

They began to prepare the second, but the outbreak of the war officially thwarted these plans. What kind of special convoy?
