On Monday, June 30, 2014, the summer expedition of the school search group "Romny - Kosmopoisk" to the mysterious and simply interesting places of Ukraine ended in Sumy region. In particular, they visited the famous local anomalous zone "Malaya Bugayka" in the Romensky district, nicknamed in some Ukrainian media "the Ukrainian Bermuda triangle".
Vladimir Litovka, organizer of the expedition: “Very strange incidents occur in these places. We have witnessed how in 80 minutes of observing the harvesting of alfalfa, the equipment failed … 6 times! The tractor drivers smoked, rested, and ate three more times. On field No. 3 (according to crop rotation), equipment (even new) often breaks down since the 1960s. In the 1930s, there was a village here, as well as poltergeists, chronoanomalies, chronomirages and other unusual phenomena. Since then, in fact, everything has begun …"
The researchers also visited the mysterious place of the formation of strange circles of vegetation. They were discovered in 2011 in the anomalous zone "Malaya Bugayka". The dimensions of the formations are 22x18 m, the distance between them is about 1500 meters. The soil around the circumference shows signs of vertical compression. Researchers have not established visible external changes on oval formations for three years of observation.
Meanwhile, not only scientists and researchers, but also various curious people, are drawn to Malaya Bugaevka.

The village of Malaya Bugayka ceased to exist in the 1950s. Today, its existence is reminiscent of the cemetery, which is spread out in the center of the field. The picture is mystical. But it is not ghosts that bother random passers-by, but inexplicable time shifts. Today the territory of the former village has turned into a real chrono-anomalous zone. There are unexplained phenomena associated with the heterogeneous flow of time. Researchers of anomalous phenomena periodically survey the area, but questions remain unanswered.
It all started with simple observations: the visitors' batteries quickly "discharged" their photo and video equipment, tractors stalled or spontaneously started (plowing the surrounding fields), cows from nearby villages always bypass this place … But the most amazing thing is that the hands on a mechanical clock always run away here forward, reminding you that you are in an unusual place.
The researcher of the chronoanomalous zone Litovka Vladimir Viktorovich in August 2012 conducted a chronological experiment in the zone:
- On August 11, 2012 at 14.05 local time I was in the chronoanomalous zone. After 5 minutes of lying on the surface, the hand of a mechanical watch moved forward immediately by 7 minutes, and an hour later - by 10. I arrived home at 21.45 - already 30 minutes in comparison with the watch on my hand. The phone was junk all the time, although the tower of the telephone operator was in the visual observation zone. Such are the miracles …
The strangeness in this area is not a figment of the sick imagination of contemporaries. Miracles are a characteristic feature of Malaya Bugaevka. The stories of direct residents of the village, eyewitnesses of the phenomenon that today can be described by the word poltergeist, have survived.
