Tales of huge cigar-shaped or cylindrical flying objects, alleged UFO carriers known as "mother ships", began to appear in the early 1870s. The surge in information about them fell in 1896-7, eyewitnesses were mainly from the US Midwest.

Considered the first UFO photograph, eyewitness - Sem Sherman 1870. The first Zeppelin took off in Germany in 1900.

A wave of UFO sightings swept England in 1909. During World War I, there was seldom a night without multiple reports of German Zeppelin sightings over Great Britain, but at the time the Germans had only one naval Zeppelin and five under the ground forces. And at the same time, the historian Dr. Clark claims that most of the Zeppelin were destroyed or wrecked in the first months of the war. The Germans report that the Zeppelin activity over Britain was very sluggish, but pilots reported thousands of cases of evidence of huge cylindrical aerial objects over England.

Captain Stensfield and most of his trawler's crew reported on 15 December 1914 that they had seen a huge black flying object. After the war, after revising the flight schedules, it was established that at that time all German aircraft remained in hangars due to weather conditions. On September 6, 1914, flight director K. I. Retbourne from Felixstave Naval Base near Suffolk, returning in his seaplane from a morning patrol and may have become the first military officer to report a UFO. "At 5:35 am, while patrolling the area, I noticed a silver aircraft heading southeast at 1,300 feet, 27 miles south of Orfordness." The Scottish Intelligence Agency counted the total number of "enemy reports" and received 2000 certificates in 1914 alone. But by the end of 1916, only nine naval Zeppelin were built, and only they bombed England.

The Zeppelin fleet over the North Sea

Fear and gossip around the Zeppelin have spawned thousands of reports of imaginary flying machines that, according to flight schedules, rarely even approached England.

From the descriptions of the cylindrical flying objects, these could very well have been UFO mother ships. Often, British pilots tried to catch up with the airships they saw, but they did not succeed. The Zeppelins were always at a considerable height, and their cruising speed was about the same as that of the aircraft pursuing them. And, finally, if the pilot still managed to catch up with the airship, the Zeppelin immediately bristled with machine guns.

The British National Archives contains a rather interesting report from the Second World War. It was found by UFO researchers David Clarke and Andy Roberts of 61 Squadron of the Royal Air Force. The aircraft commander, reserve captain Lever, reports: “On the night of November 28-29, 1942, during a raid on Tyurin, the entire crew observed an object flying above the aircraft. They assumed that it was 200-300 feet in length and 1/5 or 1/6 in diameter. The object flew at about 500 miles per hour and had four pairs of red lights spaced at regular intervals along the entire hull. These lights were not exhaust lights as no smoke was visible. The subject was on a direct course.

The crew saw the object twice during that raid, details are given below. For the first time, the plane returned from the bombing in the northwest direction and was already 10-15 miles southwest of Tyurin. The object flew southeast at the same altitude or slightly below the plane. Later, as the plane approached the Alps, the object was again seen flying west-southwest over the valley between the two alpine peaks. Then the lights went out and the object disappeared."

“The captain said that he had seen a similar object three months ago north of Amsterdam. At that time, he was first seen standing on the ground, and then flying with great speed along the coast at an altitude lower than near Tyurin. Both objects flew in the same direction."

British writer Nick Redfern claims that British war documents contain information about how an entire fleet of flying saucers called foo fighters was fired from a huge cigar-shaped mother ship during a B-17 daytime raid over Germany in 1943. The mother ship swept by in front of the B-17 and released the discs in front of the amazed crew.

During the 1950s and 1960s, the so-called mother ships were observed in fairly large numbers. These were mainly huge cylindrical and cigar-shaped objects, but sometimes disc-shaped devices were also reported.

Parent ships are often described as objects ranging from hundreds to thousands of feet in length and spitting out small, disc-shaped craft. In terms of scope and complexity, this process often looked very similar to the launch and return of terrestrial aircraft to aircraft carriers. Disks were usually noticed starting in the morning and returning in the evenings. The scout discs were most likely engaged in kidnapping and foraging for food and minerals. These discs are often seen above high voltage lines or near power plants. It can be assumed that they are able to charge their engines using electricity. Sometimes this caused power outages. The sheer size of the mother ships suggests an unearthly origin.

The territory over which this mother ship was seen is the Atlantic Ocean, an area of Greenland. The photo was posted on the NASA website on the International Space Station page Photos of the Earth by astronauts. Below is a miniature photograph of the mother ship flying through the atmosphere.

It looks like the object is made of metal and has dark rings at both ends. The analysis and discovery of the unusual in this photo was done by Steve Tobias, a UFO researcher and veteran of the United States Air Force.

Photos of Mars suggest its population

Russian Colonel Dr. Marina Popovich, whose husband Pavel holds the rank of general and was an astronaut, states: "The last thing transmitted by the Soviet satellite Phobos 2 was an image of a giant cylindrical mother ship, photographed on March 25, 1989."

After the data was transmitted, the satellite mysteriously disappeared. One of the broadcasts showed an oblong shadow on the surface of Mars. According to Dr. John Becklake of the London Science Museum, a shadow is something between a ship and Mars. He stressed that the object was seen by both optical and infrared (heat-sensitive) cameras. This long shadow is unlike any of the shadows cast on Mars by its satellite Phobos, and more like a huge cigar-shaped mother ship.

Top hat from New Mexico

Albuquerque, January 24, 2007. I walked with my dog, time went by yesterday. And it so happened that I lifted my head up and saw an airplane, only without wings. It flew from the northeast, southwest at 15,000 feet. The weather made it possible to clearly see it, there was not a single cloud in the sky, and not a sound emanated from the object, unlike conventional aircraft, it was completely silent.
