A house believed to be home to evil spirits was demolished last month in Indiana, USA.
Zach Bagans, host and producer of the TV show Haunted Adventures, purchased the aforementioned house in 2014 for the filming of a documentary. The unexplained happened to the family that had previously lived in this house: several police and medical workers witnessed levitation, the appearance of traces from invisible feet, and more. Catholic priest Michael Maginot from St. Stephen's Church in Merrillville, who saved his family by performing a series of exorcisms, agreed to take part in the filming of a documentary about the expulsion of evil spirits, explaining this by the fact that "if the story is true, the devil is defeated, losing all aura of mystery." …
As the priest noted, contrary to the image created by Hollywood, depicting evil spirits in the form of ordinary monsters, it acts much more subtly. So the TV presenter and the priest constantly clashed on the set, until they realized what was really happening to them. At the same time, he noted the importance of people understanding that the devil is not God and that he is not omnipotent, that he cannot take away a person's life or will.
Father Vincent Lampert, priest of St. Malachi Church and exorcist of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis, who advised Fr. Maginot, noted that evil spirits do not dwell in dwellings, as a person does - it dwells in the minds. That is why Fr. Lampert advised not to get carried away with programs and stories about evil spirits, but more often to think about God.
