The studies carried out on the basis of the laboratory of biomedical technologies of the Research Institute of Industrial and Marine Medicine became a real sensation, the newspaper "Life" writes in tomorrow's issue. Scientists have experimentally proven that the sign of the cross kills microbes and changes the optical properties of water.
“We have confirmed that the custom of baptizing food and drink before a meal, which comes from antiquity, has a deep mystical meaning,” says physicist Angelina Malakhovskaya. “There is a practical benefit behind it: food is cleansed literally in an instant. This is a great miracle that happens literally every day.
Angelina Malakhovskaya spent her research on the power of the sign of the cross for almost 10 years. A large series of experiments were carried out, which were rechecked many times before publishing the results.
They are phenomenal: unique bactericidal properties have been revealed that appear in water from its consecration with prayer and the sign of the cross. A new, previously unknown property of the Word of God has been discovered to transform the structure of water, significantly increasing its optical density in the short ultraviolet region of the spectrum.
The very possibility of these studies for Angelina Malakhovskaya and her colleagues from St. Petersburg was a miracle - they were not funded, were not part of the research institute's topics. But scientists have done a huge amount of work free of charge - only to give people the opportunity to feel and see the healing power of God.
Scientists have tested the effect of the prayer "Our Father" and the sign of the cross on pathogenic bacteria. For the study, water samples were taken from various reservoirs - wells, rivers, lakes. All samples contained E. coli, Staphylococcus aureus. But it turned out that if you read the prayer "Our Father" and overshadow the samples with the sign of the cross, then the number of harmful bacteria decreased by 7, 10, 100 and even more than 1000 times!
According to the conditions of the experiment - to exclude the influence of possible mental suggestion - both believers and non-believers read the prayer, however, the number of pathogenic bacteria in different environments (with different sets of bacteria) still decreased compared to the control sample.
The effect of prayer and the sign of the cross on a person is beneficial - all the subjects have stabilized blood pressure, improved blood counts. It is surprising that the indicators changed in exactly the direction required for healing: in hypotensive patients the pressure rises, in hypertensive patients it decreases.

But the spectrograph instrument gives an objective assessment of this phenomenon.
The sign of the Cross changes the optical density of water almost instantly. The optical density of tap water, consecrated by the performance of the sign of the cross over it by ordinary believers, rises almost 1.5 times! And when consecrated by a priest - almost 2.5 times! That is, it turns out that the water “distinguishes” the degree of consecration - by a layman or a priest, whose right hand fingers are folded for blessing in such a way that they represent the first letters of the name of Christ.
An interesting result is the consecration of water by a baptized, but unbelieving person who does not wear a cross. It turned out that water "distinguishes" even the degree of faith - the optical density changed only by 10%! Truly - "according to your faith - let it be to you."
Since the human body consists of more than two-thirds of water, this means that God laid in us at the time of creation such a system of physical channels that regulate all biochemical processes in the body, which clearly “recognizes” the name of Jesus Christ!
We can say that the sign of the cross is a generator of light. No changes (increase) in the optical density of tap water were detected for any other folds of the fingers (with the palm, or with careless folding of the fingers, rapid unreasonable waving of the hands).
