In the village of Bogdanovka in the Sumy region, a chicken with four legs hatched two weeks ago
“When I put eggs under the quota, I got the most of them,” says the owner, 67-year-old Nikolai Kravchenko. - I took that big egg and I think: "I'll put it, maybe it will be a good chicken."
Nine chicks hatched. One is four-legged. The creature ran faster than the brothers, pushed off the ground with all four paws. And the day before yesterday the chicken died. Kravchenko believes radiation caused the anomaly.
- Two-headed kittens have already been born in Bogdanovka. in 1986, when the Chernobyl nuclear power plant exploded, a radiation cloud covered our village and neighboring Pirogovka. This area is still considered infected. In the soil, they say, the content of cesium is increased: 5–7 curies per square kilometer, at a rate of up to 5 curies.
Veterinarian Anna Begunova, 40, says several mutant kittens were born in their village last year.
- One woman's cat gave birth to kittens completely without hair. Over the past year, kittens with two heads were born twice, once with fused backs. They had eight legs, one tail, and two heads. The miraculous chicken that hatched from Kravchenko is a mixture of two organisms.
