Thai researchers stunned everyone with frightening news that makes the hair on the head move: the world is rapidly spreading malaria, resistant to drugs. A mutating strain of this terrible disease has already reached Vietnam. Malaria will continue its journey in Africa, from where people will begin to spread it around the globe.

For the first time, a PfPailin malaria strain that cannot be eradicated by antibiotics was found in Cambodia. Over time, the infection spread across Thailand and Laos - it happened so quickly that scientists did not even have time to react. Experts from Mahidol University in Thailand learned that the strain is currently based in the southwest of Vietnam. Doctors will sound the alarm if mutating malaria makes it to Africa, as there are too many mosquitoes on this continent.

The disease is caused by the parasite Plasmodium falciparum, which is transmitted through malaria bloodsuckers. Once in the human body, it provokes the appearance of tropical malaria - in most cases, the person who has this disease does not survive, since this type of malaria is the most dangerous. It affects 1.5 million people every year and more than 600 die. 92 percent of all cases are found on the African continent.

The worst thing is that the established drugs that help fight malaria have been powerless in the face of the mutating parasite. Panic is already beginning to sweep the scientific world, and very soon it will spread to the entire public.
