Few people have heard of the African Dogon tribe living in the southeastern part of Mali, in rather inaccessible places near Bandiagar, a ledge adjacent to the Seno plateau. For a long time, this amazing tribe was completely isolated from the civilized world, so it was able to preserve its identity.

So, the mythology of the tribe says that in ancient times, the ancestors of the Dogon came into contact with space aliens. For a civilized person, this information can be called a fantasy of African priests, nevertheless, the Dogon tribe possesses completely unique knowledge in astronomy, while having a completely incomprehensible origin.

The Dogon tribe was discovered by two anthropologists from France, who stumbled upon it in 1931. They were Marcel Griaule with Germain Dieterlin. According to French scientists, this is a peaceful, albeit completely wild tribe. The Dogons attracted the French so much that they stayed with them and stayed in the tribe for almost ten years.

The Dogon are mostly engaged in farming. They sow corn and millet and grow vegetables successfully. They even have small cotton plantations. In the middle of the last century, Bandiagara, where the Dogon live, was included in the UNESCO heritage list.

Surely no one would have become interested in the Dogon if it were not for their amazingly accurate astronomical knowledge. It all began in 1950, when Griaule and Dieterlin published an article on the astronomical knowledge of the Dogon. Unexpectedly, scientists managed to find out that in Dogon mythology there is a lot of information about Sirius, about its features and the orbit of motion. The Dogons also knew about the four largest satellites of such an unknown planet as Jupiter and even about the stellar spiral worlds. It turned out that the African tribe has such knowledge that became available to modern scientists only with the use of powerful telescopes.

How undeveloped savages, who do not have the necessary tools at hand, could have known about the orbits or other characteristics of celestial bodies invisible even to some telescopes, is not exactly known. Neither Griaule nor Dieterlaine could explain the mystery of the source of such amazing Dogon knowledge of space. Researchers and supporters of the paleocontact of foreign aliens with our planet also became interested in this.

So, in the seventies of the last century, Eric Gerrier and Robert Temple independently published books, where they hypothesized that the Dogon received such astronomical knowledge from aliens. Guerrier, for example, cited drawings on ancient sanctuaries as evidence of his theory, where the Dogon ancestors depicted the trajectory of a spacecraft to Earth.

And according to Temple, the Dogon mythology is one of the most serious evidence of contact between earthlings and aliens. Otherwise, how to explain where this wild people has such knowledge about the Universe, in part even surpassing our current level.

According to the Dogon, the Earth revolves around itself, it makes a big circle, like a top, revolving in a circle. And the sun, revolving around its axis, is, as it were, set in motion by a spiral spring … And this is the opinion of those who not only did not observe the rotation of the star, but also never saw the spiral spring in their eyes. But that's not all. Dogon legends say that Nomma stood at the beginning of everything - the fundamental principle or creator who created the cosmos. “The egg of Nomma was closed… When Nomma, having opened the egg of the world, came out of it, a vortex arose, as a result of which“yala”was created from the spiral rotating in the egg and signifying the expansion of the world, in the Dogon language meaning the transition of the abstract to the concrete. Many researchers consider this message from antiquity rather confusing, but this happens very often in ancient myths.

This is how people who did not know about physics, astronomy or mathematics, in fact primitives, were able to explain such a complex phenomenon as the Big Bang and the expansion of the Universe that lasted for millennia.

Dogon mythology also says that people on Earth were resettled from a planet whose sun was a star from the Sirius system - Sirius B. Dogons call it Ottolo. Until the nineteenth century, no one except the Dogon suspected the existence of this star. This star is the first officially recorded "white dwarf", the density of which is more than fifty tons per cubic centimeter, and the Dogon also know about this, saying that it is so heavy that even all people put together could not lift its small a piece. But how does a tribe know about such a phenomenon, lost among the remote valleys of African rivers?

In addition, the Dogon claim that there is another invisible star in the Sirius system, and this is also confirmed by modern astronomy, hypothetically calling this star Sirius S.

According to many researchers, the most important question that needs to be clarified is the origin of this people, and above all, where did it meet with cosmic beings. However, none of the initiated Dogon was able to pinpoint this location, although some pointed to a lake located northwest of Bandiagar. But they accurately enough tell how the aliens arrived. First, a star appeared in the daytime, which they call the Star of the Tenth Moon. Red rays surrounded her. From this strange star, a gigantic round object appeared, which revolved on its axis. But, upon landing, it changed its shape and became like a basket with a square base and a round hole at the top. When he landed, a huge column of dust rose. People and animals fled. But at that time something like an animal came out of the ark. It secured him with ropes and dragged him to the ravine. At this time, a terrible downpour began, which filled the hollow, and the ark swam over it, and the iron horse disappeared.

And then seven Nommo came out of the ark - the amphibious gods who breathed with their collarbones.

The Dogon believe that the Nommo descended to Earth to educate and spiritualize people. It was from them that the Dogon learned to cultivate the land, smelt metals and make tools.

Many ethnologists believe that ancient cultures borrowed their innermost knowledge from each other, and also that they could have a common source. However, it is surprising in this case that the influence of this primary source affected such vast areas, from West Africa to Asia Minor.

It is no less surprising that the details of the external description coincide. The Dogons actually retell the legends of the ancient Sumerians about the deity, which in many philosophical dictionaries is called quite consonant with this African people - Dag or Dogon, as well as Musar.

And oddly enough, these names mean the same thing, and speak of deities - half-humans, half-amphibians, who were also seven, like the Dogon Nommo. They came out of the water and taught the inhabitants of Mesopotamia agriculture and laws, scriptures and sciences.

For those who are sure that humanity in the Universe is not alone, this is the real proof of their theory, while for the rest - just beautiful fairy tales. One can only hope that the day will come when a person finally learns the truth about paleocontacts, although there are doubters on this score.
