An international research team has identified a human handprint in the Himalayan mountains dating back about 12,600 years! Simple calculations lead us directly to the time when the Flood began. Myths testify that it was in Tibet and the Himalayas that a few survivors were saved at that time … The prints were left in the petrified thermal mud in the place where the Tibetan monastery Chusang is now located.
This valuable discovery was made near a Buddhist temple. The prints were difficult to find as they were smoothed and polished by pilgrims who constantly touched the stone during visits to the monastery.
Discovered human handprints are among the oldest on the Tibetan plateau. Older footprints could have been destroyed by the Flood and its consequences, at the same time, these footprints indicate that there were survivors in the mountains who survived floods, earthquakes and other catastrophic consequences in mountain shelters, which later became sacred (temples were installed there).
