Ohio University staff have suggested that time travel is real. In any case, technically, they can be implemented. The only thing is that in theory such "voyages" will take place somewhat differently than the science fiction writers imagined.

And when he gets back home, his internal clock will work the same as before. There is, however, one nuance: a person will not be able to get into the future like that, he will only be able to control the speed of its achievement.
US professor Paul Sutter believes that in order to travel to the future, a person needs to be able to move in both directions. That is, this requires a ship that can maintain a constant speed of 9.8 meters per second, equal to Earth's gravity. At such a speed, it will be possible to reach the center of the Milky Way in literally several decades. By the way, these several decades spent in space on Earth may turn out to be about four tens of millennia. That is, after returning from such a trip, the astronaut will see our planet completely different, not to mention the society, which, perhaps, will inhabit it after such a long time. Unlike the future, the past does not yet allow "to come to visit him", because a thermodynamic law called entropy is at work here. According to Sutter,a journey into the past, in itself, conflicts with the theory of relativity.
In general, the topic of time travel has always been shrouded in mysticism, secrets and untested hypotheses. And if we talk about travels in the past, then they, perhaps, were made by almost any of us during sleep - visited other cities or just an unknown area, talked with relatives who are no longer alive, etc. Penetrate into the future and see what the events in it will be given only to a select few, who in the common people are called psychics or clairvoyants. Scientists who have studied the concept of biocentrism can already explain a lot in terms of the structure of the universe. They argue that travel to the past and the future is entirely possible. And, if you follow the theory of relativity, then there is a direct relationship between space and time.
In 1949, Kurt Gödel developed a new way to solve Einstein's equations, which made it possible to learn about the existence of a different structure of time-space. So humanity learned that time travel back is also possible and does not contradict the laws of physics.

Experts believe that this analysis makes it easier and faster to "transfer" the object to the point of arrival and reassemble it in its original state. The third method is based on scanning a person at the atomic level. The scanned information about it is transmitted to the point of arrival, where a new body is created, into which the received data is embedded. By the way, it is the last method that seems to be the most realistic to scientists.
The actual process of teleportation (i.e. moving at a distance) has already been carried out, and more than once. It happened in 2012 and 2014 in London. In 2016, teleportation was also successfully carried out in China, where specialists managed to move photons over a distance of 6 kilometers, and in Canada, where the same operation was performed over a distance of 12.5 kilometers.
Modern foreign experts suggest that they will be able to teleport a person approximately in 2050-2080. Now, no matter how attractive the topic of movement in space is, it requires high-tech means of a level that science has not yet reached.
Scientists put forward hypotheses about possible experiments with time and space, which could be put by other inhabitants of the galaxy, besides earthlings. If we assume that such experiments take place, then this could explain many mysterious events in the life of our planet, including unexpected displacements, the opening of unknown portals and contacts with representatives of other worlds. The question - to believe or not to believe in such "miracles" for some people is generally irrelevant, since they are simply not interested in this topic, but others with great passion are trying to find their own explanations for mysterious events.
