When investigating the circumstances of the sinking of the legendary ship, it was found out that of the first-class passengers during the shipwreck, only one child lost his life - two-year-old Lorraine Ellison.
The girl did not manage to get onto the lifeboat, because during the sinking of the Titanic, her parents feverishly searched for her little brother, who, as it turned out later, had already moved to one of the boats. The bodies of Ellison and her mother have never been found at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean.
In 1940, 28 years after the sinking of the Titanic, a certain Helen Kramer spoke on the radio, claiming that her real name was Lorraine Ellison. She said she was allegedly rescued by Thomas Andrews, the superliner's chief designer, who was also believed to have died in the shipwreck. Kramer said that she grew up in England, and then she was sent to an American boarding school.
Over the next 50 years, Kramer stubbornly besieged members of the wealthy Ellison family, trying to prove her kinship with them. However, the Ellisones were skeptical about the claims of the "resurrected Lorraine" and did not let her get close to them.
After the death of Helen Kramer in 1992, her granddaughter Debrina Woods did not give up trying to prove her connection with the Allison, claiming that she had a whole suitcase of documents proving her grandmother's identity. And now, 70 years later, the truth has surfaced.

The members of the project were able to convince members of the Allison family and one of Helen Kramer's relatives to donate biological materials for a DNA test.
