Any reference book says that parasites are "consumers" who live off other organisms. Parasites use various strategies for survival, one of which is to deprive them of the possibility of reproduction of those who, unwillingly, help them to exist.

Among ufologists, there is an opinion that alien beings are gradually "castrating" humanity by implanting certain objects into human bodies. In this case, it is obvious which of us is a parasite and which is an enslaved donor.

Of all the stories about alien abductions by aliens, the most shocking stories are that the kidnappers allegedly try to create hybrid offspring - humanoids, who would be able to bridge the gap between human society and the civilization of "others".

This notorious "crossbreeding program" has become a major component of many books because of its disturbing (and often erotic) overtones. Such authors as David Jacobe, Budd Hopkins, Russian ufologist Gennady Belimov try to explain the actions of the aliens.

It is also believed that the ubiquitous "grays" are forced to steal people - they suffer from a certain genetic disease that deprived them of the possibility of natural conception, and their only hope is the infusion of human DNA.

This version is far from flawless, and this is noted by many critics. Geneticists scoff at the idea that humans can be genetically compatible with aliens: the ego is about the same as if a person were trying to successfully mate with an insect.

True, recent discoveries in transgenic engineering make it possible to do the impossible (albeit artificially). Still, it's hard to imagine that advanced aliens - apparently thousands of years ahead of us in evolution - would rely solely on kidnapping unsuspecting humans to get the genetic samples they need.

This hypothesis seems especially awkward when applied to a civilization capable of interstellar travel or instantaneous passage through space-time. Logically, they should have knowledge of genetic engineering, significantly superior to our own.

Even a civilization that was only a few hundred years ahead of ours would certainly have coped with the basic principles of nanotechnology and would have considered obsolete methods such as, for example, the forcible removal of an egg or sperm.

All this suggests that "aliens" (at least some of their races) do not come to us from some distant star system, but may well turn out to be our close neighbors, in fact, connected with us by a common territory.

For example, they can visit our habitat from their underground or underwater bases that exist right here on Earth, right next to us. And their frequent hints of space (such as the famous "sky map" shown by Betty Hill) can only be a trick invented in order to please our collective craze for "space visitors" and make us search not near home, but where something in space heights. And persistent genetic interest in earthlings only proves that they are a related species that has long been associated with us.

It is clear that not all contactees who talk about meetings with benevolent and similar aliens were deceivers and eccentrics. It is possible that some did indeed deal with genuine aliens. And the fact that the “others” who came to visit us as space travelers soon after the creation of nuclear weapons on Earth may seem to contradict the version about their earthly origin.

But is it? If you secretly lived among the savages and watched as they receive more and more destructive weapons at their disposal or are about to destroy (burn, flood, etc.) the territory where you are, then you probably have would be tempted to intervene. But - for your own safety - you would probably prefer to do it so as not to betray your own existence and at the same time somehow convey your thought to these very savages.

If we share our planet with local “others” - and the version of their terrestrial origin seems as sound as the extraterrestrial hypothesis - then, of course, it is possible that numerically, if not technically, we surpass them.

In this case, “others” are forced to live on the periphery of normal human perception and, possibly, use some methods in relation to us, similar to major breakthroughs in creating interfaces for thinking machines and “mind control”.

Well, isn't it suspicious that, for example, so many contacts with aliens involve the use of chemicals, as well as needles inserted into the victim's head? Sometimes kidnapped people are asked to drink some nauseating drinks before talking to the "crew" or they are allowed to see some images or scenes that may be intended for psychological treatment.

In other words, aliens - terrestrial or extraterrestrial - clearly prefer to change our perception of reality. We are, as it were, forced to participate in contacts, without giving us the luxury of trusting our feelings. But how does this fit in with the popular description of dispassionate alien scientists who don't give a damn about our feelings (and who seem to care about our earthly affairs and empathize with us no more than a lab technician sympathizes with their experimental rats)?

What about the post-hypnotic commands from the "aliens", ordering to forget all the experience? Why are these barriers so often broken down? Is it because we are not dealing with stellar aliens, but with someone else, closer and simpler?

Whoever these “others” are, their mastery of the psychic “vocabulary” is simply amazing! This is not at all like a pragmatic "genetic harvest". Where did the “aliens” get this human aspect from? And what does this portend for us?

Once we finish weeding out esoteric hypotheses, we are left with a disturbing prospect that at least one "crypto-earth" community on our planet is suffering from a potentially debilitating genetic syndrome. And it seems that the “others” are desperate and at the same time quite sane guys who have been collecting the “harvest” from our population for decades for possible long-term “genetic repair” of their fellows.

And this does not necessarily imply criminal intent: if such a situation had developed in our country, then we would almost certainly have done the same, taking equally unpleasant and tedious steps to ensure our anonymity. This is roughly the point of view expressed by Mac Tonnis in his article “Human-Alien Hybrids?” Which appeared in the press on September 30, 2008.

But this version and around it has its own special complex aspects. Can “others” set themselves some other goal? What if they are concerned not only (and not so much) with their own (un) ability to bear children, but also with our (super) ability? There are many of us on the planet! What if they are already close to us?

Then the complete destruction or severe limitation of our ability to further increase the population of the Earth could solve many of the problems of such a mysterious community. If we share the planet with another advanced civilization, then it is possible that it will wage a "guerrilla war" against us, including by the methods of genetics.

Is this why they are engaged in hybridization? Where do those babies that aliens often steal from the womb of women in the third or fourth month of pregnancy go to?

How and where are hybrids used? And what are these hybrids? Do “others” really need them in such a huge amount? For what?

What if “others” are trying to squeeze, and then completely supplant us as a species? No, not by military measures or the destruction of the Earth - after all, they themselves live here. And peaceful, gradually. Oh, then it turns out that "every bast in the line" - and the increase in the number of impotent people, and female infertility, and AIDS, and same-sex marriages, and what our geneticists and demographers have already begun talking about with alarm - exhaustion, weakening and a threat the future complete extinction of the male Y chromosome.

If we and the “others” really live on the same planet, then it may be a symbiosis that is beneficial to both, and maybe the position of “predator - prey”. The theory that UFOs can parasitize at the expense of humanity looks very scary, but it is quite real.

Moreover, a person, for example, himself uses many other biological species for survival - we breed pigs (genetically modified), and then we take their hearts for transplantation. Is it possible that "others" will do approximately the same with us?
