The image of an "alien with a pipe" appeared in the fields of England in 2011. But traces of the image lead back to the first ET response to an Earth message to space from the Arecibo Observatory in 1974.
The first response from space was the WOW Signal in 1977.
The second is a mirror image of the Arecibian message, near the Chilbolton Observatory in 2001.
The third is an image of an "alien with a binary disk," near Chilbolton in 2002.
The fourth is the image of an "alien with a pipe" in 2011.
The 2017 crop circle season began immediately with pointing to the 2011 image, in which the Aliens gave detailed instructions on how to read their Messages and offered to go to Official Contact. In fact, the main distinguishing symbol of the image, the "pipe", was correctly identified immediately. It was interpreted as a "peace pipe". But the "reading algorithm" indicated in the same image made it possible to clarify the proposal of the aliens.

The transmission algorithm is similar to the "rebus" cipher, when a word must be recognized in a picture. Difficulty level - preschool and primary school.

It is clearly seen that the decryption is intended for reading in Russian, with its writing rules. In fact, in the decoding of the Message, neither the order nor the number of letters in the words changes, - BURNING - HOT, PIPE - FRIENDSHIP.
In the English spelling, there is no similarity between the original words and the transcribed ones.
Thus, it follows that the addressee of the Message hidden in the image of the "alien with a pipe" was Russia, as a native speaker of the Russian language.
But the main point of the ETs' proposal of HOT FRIENDSHIP is that they initially offered friendship from their first attempt at Contact with Earthlings. Judging by the fact that to this day they have not shown their treachery, but patiently continue to wait for an answer to their proposal, they should be trusted.
