The triumph of modern science and millennial spiritual teachings. Where to draw the line to learn the secrets of the "Universe"? And what is life and death?

Life is a great miracle, full of secrets and mysteries beyond the control of human thought. Hundreds of philosophical ideas and religious teachings have been created, thousands of medical treatises have been written, an infinite number of physical laws and formulas have been discovered, but all this does not give humanity a complete picture of the World, does not explain all the phenomena occurring in the Universe. In ancient times, all inexplicable events were perceived by man as a manifestation of irrational, non-material forces. Moving away from dark ignorance, people have learned to understand physical phenomena and treat serious illnesses. It seems that the hour is about to come when all the secrets of life will be revealed to a person and, although people still do not understand many mysteries and secrets of the Universe, a logical and rational explanation was found for most of the mystical and previously unexplained phenomena.

Reincarnation is the reincarnation of the soul, its transition from one physical shell to another. Many religious teachings are based on the idea that in addition to the physical material body, everyone has super-energy, a soul - that "divine spark" that fills the physical shell. Death is the final destination only for the earthly body, while the soul, remaining immortal, passes into another material shell. Rebirth in the earthly world, the soul develops each time, forming the personality of a person, however, that part of it always remains that, passing from body to body, remains unchanged. The concepts of human reincarnation in various religious teachings differ from each other.

Most Eastern beliefs assert that the soul has a specific purpose, which it achieves by evolving with each reincarnation. Being in the physical body, the soul commits light or immoral acts, thereby either cleansing or lowering the level of spirituality. Passing into the next material shell, the spirit again gets the opportunity to rise in the energy plane, to evolve due to the obstacles that the personality overcomes during the life cycle.

In Christianity, the concept of reincarnation existed among the Cathars, who argued that the soul of every person is the reincarnation of the Fallen Angel, coming again and again into the earthly world, and the task of a person living on earth, through prayers, good thoughts and actions, to cleanse the unclean spirit. In Islam, the spirit leaves the body of the deceased, falling into a certain space, waiting for the Day of Judgment. By the will of Allah, on the Day of Judgment, new bodies will be created, into which souls will rush. In shamanic cults, the soul leaves a weak and sick body, while if a person, dying, experiences physical torment, his soul is cleansed through pain and suffering and becomes energetically stronger. Reincarnations occur within the clan through blood ties, through a generation (from grandfather to grandson, from grandmother to granddaughter).

Often there are mysterious cases that people consider the reincarnation of the soul, but these same cases can be explained from a rational point of view. One of the most common manifestations of reincarnation is the phenomenon when a born and growing child begins to speak, think, and behave like one of the deceased relatives. It often happens that he has the same hobbies, habits, facial expressions, gestures, features.

Proponents of irrational thinking argue that in such cases the period of time between death and birth in the family was very short, and the soul, which had not yet forgotten the path of life, passed into a new body, carrying the experience and memories of a past life.

Rational thinkers explain this phenomenon from a scientific point of view. So, similar features of appearance can simply be transmitted genetically, by inheritance, since we are talking about relatives. Mimicry, gestures, intonation are acquired in the early period of childhood, unconsciously read and copied from people who are nearby. It is possible that these features of gesture and pronunciation were characteristic not only of the deceased, but also of other family members. The same can be said about habits and hobbies, which are largely formed and manifested due to the external environment surrounding the individual, if it was similar in both cases, then habits and hobbies can be similar.

Memories of events from the life of the deceased may be the result of "induced memories", when relatives constantly talk about certain events from the life of the deceased, and the child, remembering them on a subconscious level, begins to perceive them as his own. There is also a mental disorder "cryptomnesia", in which a read text, a movie or a photo seen, is perceived by a person as his own experience.

It should be noted that sometimes unusual phenomena occurring in life cannot find a rational scientific justification. So, for example, there are cases when, after severe head injuries, many months in intensive care, a person, waking up, completely forgot his native speech, while beginning to speak a foreign language that was not familiar until now. Irrationalists who recognize the phenomenon of reincarnation explain this phenomenon by the fact that in a past life the soul of this person lived in another country where they speak this language. During a person's stay on the verge of life and death, his soul remembered a forgotten language, while the brain, which was injured, forgot his native language. Materialists, however, argue that a foreign language appeared as a result of a suddenly activated part of the brain responsible for mastering foreign languages, but they cannot give an answer.where and how the brain could learn a foreign language at the level of a native speaker.

Which side to stick to, each person decides for himself. Should we believe only the exact sciences and formulas or not be afraid to touch the world on the other side of reality? For centuries people have been trying to answer this question, but the Truth, as usual, is somewhere in between …
