We recently published a news about a girl named Schiele with uncombed hair syndrome. There are only about 100 people like her in the world. Sisters Agnetha and Anja Norendal from Cockermouth, Cumbria, UK, discussed below, are considered the only twins in the world with this syndrome.
Passers-by often stop when they see them and stare after them, marveling at their blond and lush hair, like a dandelion hat. Many admit that they want to touch this hair.
9-year-old Agneta and Anya have never undergone a thorough medical examination regarding the condition of their hair, so "uncombed hair syndrome" is only a probable but not a definitive diagnosis. But a lot in their condition is suitable for this syndrome.
Their hair is very light, like all people with this syndrome, and grows very slowly - in 9 years, girls were cut only three times. Their hair is straight and unruly and does not lend itself to combing, it can only be styled using special conditioners and brushes.
When their mother Angela tried to find out if there were any more children with this condition of hair, she discovered that there are only about 100 such people in the world and that her girls are the only twins among them.

According to the girls' mother, when they were young, they really liked this increased attention around them because of their hair. But now they are rather annoyed, although they really love their unique hair.
At school, the girls did not have any conflicts with classmates because of their dissimilarity, on the contrary, other children find their hair great.
The mother noticed that her girls had strange hair when the babies were barely starting to grow their first hairs. It was hair with a strange structure, stiff and unusual looking.
When a mother with twins and her eldest daughter, who is now 20 years old and has normal hair, came to the hospital for consultation, they were told that the young twins most likely have a very rare uncombing hair syndrome.
The mother and older sister have dark hair, and the twins have very light, almost white, like all carriers of this syndrome.
Their hair grows very slowly and the girls have been cut only three times in their entire lives. They also slowly get dirty and can only be washed once a week. At the same time, for each bathing, the girls' mother pours an almost full bottle of conditioner on their heads so that their hair can be styled at least a little.
