This message was sent by a man named Donald to anomalous researcher Lon Strickler several years ago. It, obviously, has something to do with the "UFO Yeti", which we wrote about earlier and which in the same Wisconsin was observed by the farmer Bosak in 1974.
“That was when I was still a boy. In September 1978, I lived with my father on our farm near Shawano, Wisconsin. Our farm was located near the Menominee Indian Reservation.
One day, rumors reached us that two deer hunters saw large and hairy creatures in the forest. The Indians on the reservation called these creatures the word "Manabaiwok", which is translated from their language as "Giants". But I considered these stories to be just fiction, fairy tales or ancient legends.
But one day my father and I were returning late in the evening by car to the farm from a trip to the store, and suddenly we saw that in our garden two tall and hairy creatures were walking on the beds with zucchini. Each of them was at least 6 feet (182 cm) high. It was already dusk and it was impossible to see these creatures in detail, but in the light of the moon it was clear what they were doing: They were picking and eating our zucchini!
The father, barely seeing these creatures, immediately turned off the headlights of the car and stopped the car itself. We sat with him and watched with bated breath as these creatures were busy in the garden. We were about 100 feet (30 m) away from them, but they acted as if they didn’t notice us or didn’t show that they did.
It took a long five minutes or so, and finally one of these creatures raised its head and looked in our direction. His eyes gleamed red. And that's when we got scared and decided to rush straight to the farm, and then call the police station. But we did not have time to do anything, because two large disc-shaped objects suddenly appeared in the sky above us.
The UFOs slowly swam towards the field to the east and after 200 yards (182 m) landed directly on the field. Each of these disks was 40 feet (12 meters) in diameter, and after landing in one of them a “door” opened, in the opening of which a greenish color shone and smoked.
In just a few seconds, the “door” closed and the discs took off again and flew northward. Only after they flew away did we realize that there were no more hairy creatures in the beds of our garden.

A few days later, my father told me that our neighbors Mr. Kane and his sister had also seen two UFOs that evening, and earlier they had seen hairy tall creatures roaming nearby in the forest. Mr. Kane told him that for several weeks he knew that these creatures were roaming nearby, but could not get a good look at them until the evening when the UFOs appeared.
After that night, we never saw these creatures again or heard others meet with them. Years later, I can't figure out what it was. Bigfoot? Aliens? Or maybe it's the same thing? It always seemed strange to me that so many people saw Bigfoot, but no one could find their bodies and graves. Maybe this is due to the fact that all these Bigfoots, Yeti and others are in fact extraterrestrial beings?"
