The ways in which aliens abduct people are varied. Power engineer Viktor Maksimovich Ponomarev tells about his adventure.

CAR IN THE FOOTHERNS

It happened in the days of my working youth, when we still lived in a single large country. Our SMU started the construction of a high-voltage power transmission line running along the spurs of the Turkestan ridge, where the administrative borders of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan converged. I arrived at the site with the driver and three workers to set up the prep cycle.

We installed our residential trailer outside the village with the melodious name of Auchi-Kalachi, which means "hunter's house". There was no other housing outside the village. Only hills turning into inaccessible mountains.

Next to the trailer, we arranged a semblance of a summer kitchen with a boiler on a tripod, under which we made a fire.

The nights are very dark here. As soon as it was getting dark, the mountains merged into a common mass of ink. And in the neighboring gorge, the wind roared with such force that it drowned out the sound of the engine running nearby. In some periods, the roar suddenly ceased. And then it resumed just as unexpectedly. A fun place!

UNEXPECTED STOP

On the third evening of our business trip, I was returning from a trip to the valley with the driver Seitmuratov. The road kept going uphill. Seytmuratov was an experienced driver. The engine of his truck ran like clockwork.

But at some point, Seitmuratov began to get nervous, complaining that the engine was "sneezing", which had never happened before. Meanwhile, the sun sank behind the peaks, and it began to darken rapidly around. But the village was already close by, and we hoped that we would not be late for dinner. Seitmuratov pumped up fuel, and the engine began to sing more confidently.

A quarter of an hour later we arrived at Auchi-Kalachi. The windows were already shining in the houses, lanterns were lit on the streets. But the mountains beyond the village resembled a huge black hole, in the sky above which the stars twinkled and the moon shone. The wind raged in the gorge. His whistle even penetrated the cockpit. Seitmuratov turned onto a country road, which skirted around Auchi-Kalachi in an arc and led to our carriage. We have already seen the yellow rectangles of its windows, clearly distinguished against the background of absolute darkness. And on the side, the flame of a bonfire danced merrily under the cauldron.

And then the motor sneezed again. Seitmuratov began to pump up fuel, but the engine sneezed often, often, and fell silent.

IN THE INK DARK

And then something happened. Suddenly all the lights in the village went out. Every single one! The yellow rectangles of the windows of our trailer have disappeared. The stars and the moon are gone in the sky. The headlights of our car went out. But the most amazing thing: the fire is out! And again: the wind stopped. And all this happened at the same time!

We found ourselves in some kind of impenetrable, inky, soundless darkness! It was as if we were covered with some kind of giant cap. I tried to call out to the driver, but my tongue did not obey me. I wanted to turn my head, but I couldn't even squint my eyes. There was a subconscious feeling: time stopped, someone else touches my skin, reads my thoughts, “turning” some “pages” several times. But for some reason this was not frightening. On the contrary, I experienced a kind of euphoria. The light, pleasant touch of invisible brush fingers relaxed and soothed. I've already forgotten where I am. Suddenly I saw myself in the technical department of our SMU, then at a meeting with the chief engineer. I was asked questions about construction plans. But it was not the chief engineer who asked, but someone else, invisible, lurking in this absolute darkness. He asked questions without uttering a word …

A soft push, and here I am again in the mountains, in Auchi-Kalachi. What miracles! On the right, the village was shining with lights, the moon and stars were shining in the sky, yellow rectangles of the windows of the trailer were burning in front, and the flame of a fire danced to the side. The engine of our car was knocking regularly, the headlights illuminated the bend in the road. The wind in the gorge howled with the same force.

- What was it? - I turned to Seitmuratov.

- The tricks of the shaitan! he croaked. - Listen, master! Not a good place here! We must move the camp!

I looked at my watch: the delusion lasted about twenty minutes.

CHAIN OF COINCIDENTS

After a few days, we actually moved the camp. But not at all because of the "tricks of the shaitan." The chief engineer of our SMU simply came and criticized the place I had chosen from the point of view of everyday amenities. Due to my inexperience at the time, I really did not offer the best option.

Meanwhile, I tried to decipher the riddle, and this is what I managed to find out. The lights in the village went out as a result of a short circuit caused by strong gusts of wind. It also went out in our trailer, which was connected to the local power supply. But after half a minute, the automatics turned on the line again. By the way, such shutdowns happened in the village regularly. Clouds covered the moon and stars. The headlights of our car were turned off by Seitmuratov himself, and then turned on again. The whole story happened with the fire. Taking off the ready-made roast from the tripod, the chef on duty put the kettle on it, but so unsuccessfully that it turned over, and the water flooded the fire. But within five minutes the fire started up again. As for the wind, it often took an unexpected time-out before.

In a word, for an outside observer, nothing mystical was found in this incident, except for the striking coincidence of a number of factors. I tried to challenge the driver to be frank, but he firmly stood his ground: "The tricks of the shaitan!" He was extremely pleased with the decision of the chief engineer to move the camp to a new location.

Then I asked many local residents whether there had been any unexplained incidents in the village. My interlocutors just shrugged their shoulders in bewilderment.

Finally, I became friendly with the local machine operator Raim, and he whispered to me that sometimes a cloud in the form of a large donut rises over the gorge, but in the village it is not customary to talk about it.

FOLLOWERS OF SPACE ETIQUETTE

Now I am quite sure that at that time in the area of the village of Auchi-Kalachi, presumably in the gorge, there was an alien base. Something they were interested in the surrounding area. The appearance of our brigade seemed strange to them, and they decided to learn more about our plans. Seytmuratov and I moved more actively than others along the foothills. That's why they chose us.

Today it is already known that the Earth is visited by various alien civilizations. Some behave unceremoniously, kidnapping people literally in broad daylight. But others still observe a certain cosmic etiquette, trying to act secretly. Obviously, the aliens who settled near Auchi-Kalachi belonged to this type. They developed a carefully calculated script.

Later I re-read a mountain of literature on ufology. Almost everyone who has happened to be abducted speaks of their visual observations. They saw the premises of the ships, the aliens themselves, their laboratories, control panels, screens …

I did not see anything at all (as, I suppose, and Seitmuratov). We were kidnapped in absolute darkness. But first, the aliens skillfully created this darkness, taking into account every detail: electricity, car headlights, a fire, even the moon. Why did they need this kind of environment? I do not know. Perhaps in absolute darkness it is easier to penetrate into the subconscious? Or did they expect that we would not understand anything, since they never saw anything?

The second feature: we were studied, as they say, on the spot. The flying saucer itself landed on our truck, taking it into one of its airlocks, where, obviously, the necessary medical equipment was already prepared. Making sure that our plans would not cause them any inconvenience, the aliens flew away, no longer worrying about disguise. However, it was still impossible to notice the "bagel-cloud" against the background of the night mountains, even taking into account the revived light sources.
