The history of the United States is full of bloody events. This state, in principle, was created on blood, when the representatives of the Old World decided to found their own, but the local inhabitants in the person of the Indians became a hindrance, so they began to be massively destroyed, and those who survived were enslaved. To this day, the Indians are the lowest class in the United States, which is treated extremely dismissively.
In total, 5 million Indians live in the States, that is, 1.6% of the population. 2/3 of them are on reservations, which make up 2% of the US territory. There, Indians can choose their governments and grant their citizenship. But in reality, self-government there is only an appearance, because the members of the tribal councils who regulate everything there are often elected by local American officials.
Or, for example, Indians living on reservations might set up a cigarette or liquor factory. But they do not have the right to independently conclude commercial transactions and defend themselves in court.
To realize their civil liberties, there are special organizations that make good money on their activities, in fact, trading in contracts for the possibility of economic activities on reservations.
In general, the residents of the reservations can establish their own rules, but all of them must nevertheless obey federal law.
Since 1924, the Indians were formally given the opportunity to be full citizens of the States, but at the same time they cannot vote in elections. And in general, this nation in the United States is extremely biased.
For example, Native American women are 3.5 times more likely to be abused by their citizens than American women. And more and more Indians are being imprisoned. For example, in Alaska, 15% of the population are Indians, and in prisons their number reaches 38% of all prisoners.
The Indian population has almost no national identity. 70% of Indians in the United States speak English, and all because in the 19th century, representatives from different tribes were placed on the same reservations. They all spoke different languages, and in order to communicate with each other, they had to communicate in English. The result was that 130 Native American languages are now on the verge of extinction.

Despite the apologies that American politicians sometimes bring to the Indians, their real attitude towards this people is completely opposite. So, in 2009, the US Congress made an official apology to the indigenous Indian peoples for terrible historical crimes.
But at the same time, now US President Donald Trump publicly humiliates representatives of these peoples. So, when Senator Elizabeth Warren said about her belonging to the Indian tribe, he called her "Indian", although this cannot be done in the United States, and even her Indian nickname may become "Elizabeth I Only Say and Do Nothing."
So the American authorities are extremely hypocritical, claiming that African Americans and Indians are legal citizens of the United States, but in fact turning a blind eye to the fact that blacks are increasingly being killed by police officers, and Indians do not even have the right to vote.
