Antarctica, 1995. Scientific station. American and British scientists notice a gray fog swirling in the sky and decide that this is an ordinary tornado. “However, time passed, and the tornado did not change shape and did not move!” - says physicist from the United States Marian MacLaine, and then the scientists decide to conduct a series of experiments.
Launched into the sky, tied to a cable, a meteorological probe soars up and disappears. Some time later, the researchers, having unwound the cable, return the probe to the ground and find that the chronometer installed on it shows … January 27, 1965. Perhaps this story about the "gate of time" would be attributed to the special magnetic fields that take place at the South Pole, if not for the facts of real, however, uncontrollable time travel known to mankind.
Next stop is the future
In 1987, Hong Kong scientists examined a boy named Yun Li Cheng, who claimed that he “came from the past.” Childhood fantasy?.. Delirium of sick consciousness?.. Anyway, but the “alien” spoke well in ancient Chinese, recounted the biographies of long-dead celebrities, knew the history of the past of China and Japan well beyond his years, mentioned many events that at present were either not remembered at all, or only a very limited number of historians knew. The strange boy was also dressed like the people of Ancient China, and did not understand how he got to the modern city of Hong Kong. However, it could have been a well-planned provocation (for example, by a TV company seeking a sensation).
However, the historian Ying Ying Shao decided to check the confused boyish story and delved into the study of ancient books stored in the temples. In one of them, his attention was attracted by records that were almost completely identical to the oral retellings of Yun Li Cheng: all the dates, names of the area and the names of specific people coincided. The historian also came across a record of the boy's place and date of birth. He was almost sure that it was about “his boy,” but to be convinced of the amazing discovery, he had to talk to him again. However, already in May 1988, after spending only a year in our time, the boy suddenly disappeared, and no one saw him again.
Soon Ying Ying Shao, continuing his research, found in one of the books behind the name of Yun Li Cheng the following entry: “… disappeared for 10 years and reappeared mad, claimed that he was in 1987 according to Christian chronology, saw huge birds, large magic mirrors, boxes that reach the clouds, colorful lights that turn on and go out, wide streets decorated with marble that rode in a long snake that crawls at monstrous speed. Declared insane and died 3 weeks later …"

Half a century in a few seconds
At the end of 1996, a sensational article appeared in the weekly "Independent Wording." Air defense systems of Great Britain detected an object approaching from the Pas-de-Calais to the English coast at low altitude. The pilot did not respond to inquiries. Then the radars lost him. And they found this plane. only a day later, on a field near the house of a certain Martha Crawford. A woman said that she was working in the garden when she heard a loud rumble approaching. She looked up into the sky and saw a low flying plane. As it turned out later, the plane was badly damaged - bullets in seven places pierced the fuselage, almost hitting the fuel tanks. Experts, who arrived at noon from the British Air Force base, quickly established that they were facing the P-40 Curtiss fighter, which was in service with the Americans during the Second World War.
The pilot himself, named John Walker, came to himself in the hospital and told incredible things. He, a lieutenant in the American Air Force, on April 9, 1944, as part of the covering squadron in which he served, accompanied the British Lancastrian heavy bombers on their way to bomb targets in Nazi-occupied Belgium. Three Messerschmitts imposed a fight on Walker. He shot down one, but the other two chased and fired at him until he was hit. The car began to lose control and was ready to fall into the strait. Just another madman?.. Journalist James O'Hara conducted his own investigation. John Walker's flight through time was neither the first nor the last. Since 1976, at least 274 cases have been known when a pilot, flying on a mission, suddenly fell into the past. The Danish physicist Pox Heglund classified all the information that could be obtained from the data of the secret government archives. Here are some examples from the scientist's list.

1986 year. Russian pilot Alexander Ustimov, performing a mission, suddenly discovered that he was above Ancient Egypt. The pilot saw one pyramid built and the foundations of several others, around which a mass of people swarmed.
1994 year. This year has been very fruitful for such occasions. So, the pilot of the United States Air Force Whitman, who was flying over the state of Florida, suddenly found himself over an area that resembled medieval Europe. Whitman said: “I saw a huge bonfire and next to it heaps of human bodies.” Apparently, he fell at a time when plague was raging in Europe.
Anonymous NATO pilot described his brief but impressive flight over ancient Rome. He saw chariots in the streets and the Colosseum that looked like it had recently been built.
Another (also unwilling to disclose his incognito) pilot of the NATO Air Force spoke about how he emerged in the thick of the stifling battle that unfolded during the Second World War. Both the allies and the Germans, according to the pilot, at the sight of his modern aircraft, flew in all directions.
“When describing their travels in the past,” notes Dr. Heglund, “the pilots paid attention to the fact that they lasted no more than 20 seconds. The pilots flew at both supersonic and subsonic speeds, therefore, the speed of the flight has nothing to do with penetration into the past. Not a single trip to the future has been recorded."
British astrophysicist Gibert Guyand suggested that the incidents described by Heglund could shed light on the UFO mystery. “Perhaps the UFOs that have appeared throughout human history are not alien ships, but ourselves, from time to time falling from the present to the past,” he says.
Skeletons flew
In 1939, a passenger plane suddenly disappeared in the sky, making a flight from Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) to Bogota (Colombia). On board there were 36 people, including the crew.
