In August 2010, a UFO appeared in the form of a glowing golden ball in the Silesian Voivodeship in Poland. Few people can be surprised with luminous dots in the sky now, because what a person does not launch there, in particular "Chinese lanterns", the launches of which have become very popular fun among the people in recent years. But this Polish case is that rare exception when you can confidently talk about the observation of something really strange
Most of the UFO reports concern distant sightings of unidentified objects, the overwhelming majority of which are confidently identified or can be explained by natural causes, provided the information received from eyewitnesses is complete. In the case of observing the so-called "night lights" (self-luminous objects in the sky at night), mainly yellow, orange, red, it is also easy to find a suitable explanation - the launch of "Chinese lanterns". But here's the bad luck … it’s too painful for these exotic flashlights, when viewed from a distance, to resemble representatives of a separate class of UFOs, which in the UFO literature flashed under the names “plasmoids”, “natural self-luminous formations”, “glowing balls” and so on, which were observed long before spreading this new entertainment here. There are no reliable criteriaby which it would be possible to reliably separate one from the other, and therefore ufologists have to categorize all such messages by default as explained. We can only hope that when a "true UFO" appears, the eyewitness will be close enough to him to see everything for sure. Our Polish colleagues recently got lucky with this.
The Polish Internet portal INFRA published a report by ufologist Arkadiusz Miazgi, who investigated the case of a UFO sighting on August 6, 2010 in Jankowicz Rybnicki, located in the Silesian Voivodeship. Four people were eyewitnesses who arranged a picnic with a grill that day. At about 22.30 local time, they saw an approaching brightly glowing golden ball, slowly rotating around its axis to the right. The object appeared to be surrounded by a luminous aura. In its lower part there were four "legs" directed at an angle outward and also emitting light - as if they were throwing out a flame. The glow was so intense that other details, with the exception of the general outline of the ball, could no longer be seen.

The ball swam out from behind a neighboring house at a distance of about a hundred meters and floated in the air at a height of about thirty meters towards the tree crowns. Everything happened in complete silence, no sounds of a running engine were heard. The first thought that visited eyewitnesses was about an illuminated balloon launched by people. But this opinion changed when the bright object stopped in place. After a minute, he moved a few meters back, and then, gaining speed, at an angle rose into the sky and in half a minute disappeared from sight among the stars. The weather that evening was good - windless and with clear skies.

The total observation time was about two minutes. To our great regret, none of those present had thought to use the available mobile phone with a built-in camera in time. As it turned out, several more residents of this settlement, who also found it difficult to explain the nature of what they saw, witnessed the appearance of a UFO. According to one of the interviewed eyewitnesses, for the first time in his life he saw a similar color (the color of the object's glow), which makes it difficult to accurately describe it in words. According to subjective impressions, he estimated the diameter of the ball at 2-3 meters.
During the observation, everyone felt very uncomfortable, and one of the women experienced severe fright for three days after the incident. However, no obvious traces of impact on eyewitnesses and the environment were recorded. The leaves of the tree growing in the immediate vicinity of the object's hovering location did not show any burns or any other damage. In the immediate vicinity there is a medium-voltage power line, a kilometer further - a high-voltage line and a quarry.
The appearance of UFOs in Yankovichi Rybnitsky, according to Heineck's classification, was classified as NL / CE-1 ("night lights" / close contact of the 1st kind). In the case of the described incident, it was very fortunate that the unidentified object was observed close enough. According to Arkadiusz Myazgi, if the observation had been carried out from a much greater distance - from 500 or even 200 meters - the case would probably have been attributed to a "Chinese flashlight". Such events are quite rare.
