The well-known researcher, discoverer of the famous Turgay geoglyphs, the head of the Turgay Discovery project Dmitry Dey announced a new sensational find, Kazinform correspondent reports.

The scientist posted a post on his Facebook account: “Dear friends, let me present to your attention the new geoglyph“Kostanay tetragon”. It was discovered using satellite imagery. Created about 3000 years ago by tribes of the Bronze Age as a religious building. This is the final stage of the construction of mound-like geoglyphs in the Turgai trough”.

A geoglyph is a large rectangle almost invisible on the ground. Its two longest sides measure 171 meters and 137 meters.

“This is a mound-shaped geoglyph in the shape of a trapezoid. Unfortunately, the soil from which the geoglyph was built is soft chernozem, so the preservation of the embankments is very poor, almost invisible on the ground,”explains Dmitry Dey.

However, in the images taken from the space satellite as part of the Google Earth project, the outlines of the tetragon are more than obvious.

“The new geoglyph has a unique location - just 1.9 km from the suburban village of Zatobolsk, on the M36 highway,” says Dey.

In his opinion, such proximity is a good chance to make this find a vibrant tourist attraction. In addition, the researcher believes, "Kostanay tetragon" is the former so-called "Temple of the Sun", built by ancient people. Such objects are considered powerful energy centers that attract the attention of mystics from all over the world, as well as numerous tourists interested in esoteric issues and the search for mysterious powers.

According to Dmitry Dey, "Kostanay Tetragon" with the right approach to business can overshadow the glory of the famous Arkaim, located next door in the Chelyabinsk region of the Russian Federation. “Arkaim is a settlement, and our find is a temple,” says the researcher, “that is, it should be considered a much more powerful energetic place. Consequently, it is difficult to overestimate the economic effect of organizing tourist flows to this place,”he wrote.

In general, the research group of Dmitry Dey in the Kostanay region has already identified 297 geoglyphs, but only 74 of them are kurgan-like.

Recall that the Kazakh researcher, discoverer of the Turgai geoglyphs Dmitry Dey in early September announced the launch of a national project designed to help raise funds to continue expeditions to mysterious objects, which have no analogues in the world today. All information about crowdfunding is located on the official website "The People's Project of GEOGLYPHS TURGAY".

Six months later, in March 2017, the opening of ancient structures in Turgay (their age is from 1.5 thousand to 8 thousand years), which are various figures composed of mounds on a huge area - rings, crosses, swastika, pyramid, will turn 10 years.

During this time, researchers have prepared a lot of materials that will form the basis of the theory about the purpose of Turgai objects, a website has been launched and contacts have been established with world-class scientific and educational institutions.

At the forum of the European Association of Archaeologists in Turkey, the Turgai discovery was recognized as a sensation in 2014. And at the end of 2015, the Turgai geoglyphs entered the TOP-10 best discoveries according to American bloggers.
