For example, it always bothered me that in the Christian religion it is permissible to call your flock sheep, although they say a more acceptable name - lambs. But even so, even so, but they need to be "grazed". And those who pasture are directly called shepherds, or shepherds, which is basically the same thing …
And the Christian agrees with this. Christians are called slaves of God, they call themselves that. They consider such treatment to be normal, so it is natural for them? One can recall the wedding ceremony of "the servant of God to the servant of God."
But it is even better to remember the very characteristic dictum of the Apostle Paul: "Slaves, obey your masters with humility." The clergy are very fond of talking about the return of the herd of round-the-clock rams (sheep) to the corral (to the bosom of the holy church). This is one of their favorite topics. Sheep is the most frequently mentioned animal in the Bible (exactly 200 times).
Only this alone, with all my respect for any religion in the world, makes me seriously think about what the "governors of God" really think about us …
I also don’t like the fact that Christianity managed to bring believers to their knees, and quite literally. But to put on his knees means to humiliate a person, or at least to completely zero his self-esteem? Of course, no one is forced to do this by force, the church simply did not have the power to do this. But she (or rather someone through her) introduced a slavish attitude into people's heads. Such an attitude that a person himself kneels. It was himself, not at gunpoint. They say that on their own. But how can there be the will to kneel? Perhaps, in this case, a person becomes only an executor of ANOTHER will?
And also the cross … For some reason, in the Russian language the word cross always carried a negative, but the expression: "To put up a cross"? After all, the cross is usually put on the fact that it cannot be restored at all.
And then a very bad analogy arises - they christened a person, this “put a cross on him,” that is, made a slave out of a person, and he will never return back.

A slave can be ordered to do anything. On behalf of God (whether it be Jehovah, Allah or someone else) it is very, very convenient to say everything that is needed at a given moment in time.
Also, every Christian considers himself to be a great sinner. Even a child is already being born, being marked by the ORIGINAL SIN.
And then the theme of sin and sinfulness accompanies a person for the rest of his life.
As a result, Christianity teaches a person: “You are a servant of God. You are a small person, sinful from birth. You need to repent, humble yourself, pride is a sin, interest in women is a sin, a full-blooded life is a sin. The thought of sin is also a sin. Don't worry about tomorrow, Jesus said so. Be patient, for God suffered, and he told us to. Gave me in the face - turn the other cheek. They take away outerwear - give back the shirt. Wife is raped - offer a daughter too. Give your property to the poor, take your cross and go. And His grace will descend on you. And if you are willful, you will go to hell."
I don't know if everything is the same in other world religions, but in Christianity I really don't like it. And how to combine in my soul the need to believe in a kind and wise God with what modern Christianity is now offering us, I do not know.
