In many countries, scientists have refused to use experimental animals in experiments. This is considered inhumane. However, there is another reason why laboratories try not to resort to vivisection …

In the vivarium of one South Ural research institute there are more than 500 “pets” - guinea pigs, rabbits, rats … Valentina D., an employee of the toxicological laboratory of this institute, tries to cause them as little suffering as possible. According to Valentina, rats have the most developed intuition. They sense the approach of death even before the onset of the experiment and try to avoid it at any cost. Even one that is hard to believe. There is a known case when a laboratory assistant was unable to complete her experiment because of the terrible visions that arose whenever she took the doomed animal out of the cage. Some researchers even argue that in extremely rare cases, rats in a moment of mortal danger can become … invisible!

But sometimes the destroyed experimental animals turn into monsters who take revenge on their killers. This story took place in the family of a laboratory assistant at the vivarium of the St. Petersburg Institute of Molecular and Radiation Biophysics. Let's call her Svetlana here. It happened at night. The day before, an experiment was carried out at the institute, for which it was necessary to kill many rats. At night, the woman was awakened by the cry of her daughter. Running to the girl's bed, Svetlana saw a bloody rat on the blanket in the moonlight. It was not a nightmare - both Svetlana and her daughter saw the rat (or her ghost). It all ended with the fact that the ghostly animal began to fade.

The mystery of the old slaughterhouse

Mysticism is mysticism, but do not rush to reject the possibility of such cases. Now, for example, it is known that animal cells store certain information even after death. And what information will the cells of an animal that die in a slaughterhouse retain? Naturally, about the last minutes of his life and, possibly, about the person who mercilessly interrupted her. And these animals can take revenge on such people even after their death. There are cases when, having tasted the meat of their victim, cattle slaughters died of poisoning, although the examination later recognized the meat as fit for food.

In 1960, a strange story was published in the English press. It was about the London slaughterhouse, which ceased to exist in the middle of the 19th century. Over time, this building dilapidated and partially collapsed. The local municipality apparently did not care about the ruins of the former slaughterhouse. But over time, amazing events began to take place at this place.

Casual passers-by sometimes observed there terrible pictures of the slaughter of cattle, which were accompanied by the death roar of the unfortunate animals. Blood flowed like a river. Many of the eyewitnesses went to the police, then to the veterinary services. When representatives of the authorities or the animal protection society arrived at the place, except for a dilapidated building overgrown with weeds, they could not find anything. In the end, the former slaughterhouse, which terrified local residents, was demolished. But even after that, for some time from the territory where she was, from time to time there was a muffled mooing.
