The UFO landing in Rendlesham Forest, UK, is considered one of the most important events of its kind. The servicemen of the US airbases witnessed it. There is also a document drawn up by the deputy commander of the air base, Lieutenant Colonel Charles Hult.
In the early morning of December 26, 1980, airbase patrols noticed strange lights outside the unit's gates. Assuming that it might be a crashed plane, three servicemen were sent to the area of fire. In the forest, they found a triangular object 2.5 m long and 2.5 m high. It emitted a strong white light. It was unclear whether the object was hanging in the air or standing on its legs. Subsequently, traces of the supports of a strange apparatus were found at this place.
When the patrol tried to get closer to the mysterious object, it slowly headed towards the nearest farm, and then disappeared. On the evening of the same day, the US Air Force base again saw a "red sun-like fire" that moved in the sky, pulsing as it did so. Then three more similar objects appeared. All of them from time to time illuminated the earth with a stream of light.
In 1993, Halt told researchers that UFO beams penetrated steel, the reinforced coating of bunkers where nuclear weapons were located. Despite the age of this event, interest in it remains unabated because this incident is a well-documented UFO sighting.
