Hiccuping at one time was widespread among the northern peoples of Russia. Some researchers argue that this form of sharing of souls was characteristic of the mystical people living in these places - the white-eyed Chudi.

Here is a resident of the Perm Territory, the hiccups Anna Aleksandrovna Chekileva, about whom the television even filmed a video (see below), is known in the district as a great healer and sorceress. Pensioner Anna Chekileva is already eighty years old, until retirement age she was the most ordinary woman, of whom there are millions in Russia. But twenty years ago, a hiccup, the soul of the so-called Elizaveta Petrovna, settled in it.
Anna Aleksandrovna says that the local sorceress gave her hiccups by treating the pensioner with home-made beer. Soon after that, she felt that two entities began to live in her, and one of them began to call herself Elizaveta Petrovna.
The pensioner even speaks in two voices, her own and the voice of a hiccup, which is very peculiar, similar to how a person speaks not when exhaling, but when inhaling. But it was the hiccups that allowed the pensioner to become a medium, since Elizaveta Petrovna can drive out any illness from a person, help find a stolen or lost thing, reconcile spouses, and much more. It is for this that people go today to the hiccups Anna Chekileva, they go first of all with health problems. And the healer works miracles. People come to her not only from other villages, villages and cities of the Perm Territory, even from Moscow, from abroad.
Hiccups are good and evil
Unfortunately, the hiccups Elizaveta Petrovna, having the opportunity to heal others, cannot do anything for the mistress herself - Anna Chekileva, who has cancer, and therefore her days are practically numbered. After death, the hiccup, as she herself says, can leave Chekileva's body and move in with someone else, but she is so attached to the pensioner that she does not want to leave her and therefore decided to die with her - a truly touching story!

Finally, we can only say that Anna Alexandrovna Chekileva herself does not regret anything, all these twenty years that she had to be a hiccup, allowed her to live richly and interestingly. It is rich not in the sense of money, the pensioner practically does not take money from her clients, but in the sense of the wealth of spiritual life. This was facilitated by her healing activities, communication with her hiccups, which, of course, is not an entirely simple woman named Elizaveta Petrovna, but a light and kind essence. For example, she does not accept everyone and does not help everyone, she simply drives evil and unkind people out, so as not to waste her far from unlimited strength on them.
