The public was simply saved from shocking information that broke all the canons and changed the perception of the world as a whole. How are we here with our wars and petty conflicts-squabbles - if here it is, next to it, a different mind, a different level, a different scale … The cosmic civilization that has mastered the Moon is not a "local product" of the solar system.
This was officially confirmed by the ex-director of the lunar laboratory Ken Johnston, who managed to keep "for himself" at least a few pictures belonging to NASA - which has long come into contact with aliens. Kstiti, Johnston confirms that the Americans really visited the moon (despite the prevailing doubts - for all known reasons), but quickly retreated from the moon, because it was "busy". The photographs show the vehicles of another, unknown space civilization, which the members of the Armstrong expedition saw with their own eyes.
In addition, as Johnston testifies, in several more pictures taken, he saw with his own eyes some ancient ruins on the moon - completely artificial structures. He has only one such photograph at his disposal. Ken himself has no idea who owns the ruins - those who "occupied" the Moon before the Americans, or some, perhaps, another, more ancient lunar civilization.
In addition, NASA, some time after contact with the aliens was established, a command was sent at all levels: to destroy all the photographs taken and negatives. Johnston does not know if anything could have survived other than what is in his possession, but believes that some kind of highly classified archive for the "higher level" must be available.
For the same reasons, a number of lunar images and artifacts have been deliberately falsified.
