Where and to what depth do these passages lead?

The presence of an extensive network of underground internal corridors gives a significant difference between the Cholula pyramid in Mexico from other pyramids of Mesoamerica and Eurasia, in which there are either no similar ones, or they have not yet been found and studied. At the moment, it is the phenomenon in Cholula that stands apart …

Judge for yourself: the passages under the Cholulskaya pyramid with a total length of more than 9 kilometers (only according to official data, note!). They were mentioned in the sixteenth century by the famous chronicler Bernardino de Sahagun, and Alexander von Humboldt, in his descriptions, cites the testimony of local residents that the Indians hid in these passages from Cortes. Thus, these moves are definitely not made by modern archaeologists, as you can find mention in the "yellow press" imitating "scientific knowledge". Meanwhile, today archaeologists do not even have an exact plan of these underground passages …

The large length of the Cholula corridor system is unique and has no analogues in the world. No one has ever and nowhere carried out such mining work for archaeological research. For example, in the famous pyramid of the Sun in Teotihuacan, for a whole hundred years of research, only two passages with a total length of only … several hundred meters have been made.

At the same time, all the corridors in Cholula turned out to be somehow almost perfectly identical and even. Sometimes there is even a feeling that the corridors are additionally lined with stone - the surface of the walls was so even.

The shape of the corridor vault is also very unusual. Here the vaults are not rectangular or (which would be more usual) hemispherical, but have a pronounced pointed shape - and the angle of convergence of the two sides of the vault is close to straight. In the Egyptian pyramids, a similar gable vault is found, but only in the cells, and not in the corridors.

The corridors have many levels and are very clearly oriented. All moves in the horizontal plane are located strictly at right angles to each other, and when moving from level to level strictly at 45 degrees - which is down, which is up.

But what is most striking is that the moves going down and up, by no means all have steps …

At the same time, the passages leading to the most ancient part of the pyramid in Cholulu have not been cleared and have their continuation, unknown to us … Where and to what depth do they lead ?!

A number of questions arise that have not yet been answered. If this whole multi-kilometer system of passages was made by the builders of the pyramid, then for what purposes?.. Why does this system have several levels at once?.. How many of these levels?.. Why do the transitions between levels not always have steps?.. Why were the straight lines between the corridors angles in the horizontal plane and half of a right angle in the vertical?..

Unfortunately, there is not even a slender fantastic hypothesis on this score, let alone a scientific version. We only know that the Cholula pyramid was oriented towards the antediluvian poles before the displacement, therefore, it was erected even before the Flood, about 14-17 thousand years ago … Most likely, the underground passages were built at the same time. But why?! After all, even the "War of the Gods" (if we start from the version of the shelter) was much, much later … We also know that in this war the South American "gods" were defeated - here the greatest destruction and traces of craters. But that also doesn't give us much.

Let's watch a short video about the mysterious pyramid in Cholula:
