According to eyewitnesses, a UFO was observed in southern Turkey on September 28, 2016, which appeared in a clear sky at about 8 a.m. and three hours later suddenly disappeared, having moved 40 kilometers to the north.
After the appearance of the object, local residents began to call their relatives and friends living in the surrounding areas, and asked them to look into the sky to see UFOs.
One of the eyewitnesses, Mehmet Humus, said that the flying object was the size of a minibus.
“I looked at the object through my brother's binoculars. It looked like a balloon. When I increased the sharpness, I saw bright lights. We have not been able to determine exactly what it was,”said Humus.
Local residents reported the object to the police. But despite the abundant evidence, the police did not file a report on the incident.
In addition, social media users posted their photos of the object and claimed that it could be a drone or a balloon.
Oya Oztkurk made a video with a UFO in the Bodrum resort. She said she saw two bright lights in the sky on September 27 and added that objects were turning and disappearing constantly. Ozturk reported that she sent the recording to a research center, where the object was identified as a UFO.
