Despite the fact that death is the end of life and everything connected with it, people have always been attracted to it. It was reflected in literature, painting, and music. What is the reason for this attraction? Why is it that people are attracted by what it means to rot and lose everything that was enjoyable?
Scientists from the University of Wisconsin at Madison tried to answer this question. In part, for example, thoughts about death are provoked by the fear of not living your life the way you would like it.
It is also important that the mind of a person is aware of his mortality. This conflicts with the inherent thirst for life.
Therefore, researchers recommend living by listening to your desires and not paying attention to what is being imposed. All people are different and not every person is obliged to have something in order to feel completely happy.
It should also be borne in mind that people who barely missed death, as a rule, reconsider their priorities and begin to value more both what is happening and those around them. And the fear of dying disappears. Therefore, thoughts about death are quite normal and, to a certain extent, help people improve their quality of life.
