Who became the author of geoglyphs on the territory of the agrouniversity is unknown.
Mysterious circles on an oat field appeared in the Central District of Voronezh on July 12. This area, not far from Berezovaya Roshcha Street, belongs to the local agricultural university - VGAU. Three geoglyph lines connected to each other were captured by the townspeople using a quadrocopter, later these images appeared on social networks. Nobody confessed to the creation of the mysterious figures, and, of course, they began to be associated with the tricks of unearthly creatures. Maybe aliens give signals to Voronezh in this way?
At the university, they could not tell about the origin of geoglyphs: they themselves do not know anything. Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor Vasily Fedotov in a conversation with the correspondent of "KP-Voronezh" added:
- I've seen similar things on the Internet, but I've never come across them myself. I have no scientific explanation. Most likely, this is someone's prank. But since there were no witnesses, we can only speculate.
SUSPICTIONS CONFIRMED
Information about the circles attracted the attention of ufologists as well. Literally a week later, the group of the research association "Geoglyphology - Cosmopoisk" went to Voronezh to check the mysterious symbols.
- Already on the first published footage, we had big doubts about the authenticity, i.e. the authenticity of the formation. The location was also embarrassing - almost in the very center of the city. The fields are small, educational. There is rye, wheat, oats, even beets,”says Maria Semyonova, head of the Geoglyphology - Cosmopoisk department.

When researchers of paranormal phenomena got to the place, examined it, took measurements, photographs, talked with local residents, the suspicions were confirmed.
- Several basic signs of a man-made formation have been found. Authentic crop circles have strict geometry, here the errors are visible even visually during aerial photography, measurements on the spot additionally confirmed this. We also found characteristic traces of the "treadmill" on the field. The ears are not bent, but broken. Plus a number of factors that we discovered, but do not advertise, so as not to simplify the work of counterfeiters and not complicate life for ourselves, - adds the girl.
QUADROCOPTER STARTED INTENTIONALLY
Indeed, the fields of the agricultural university attract the attention of local residents. They became especially popular during the coronavirus period. Due to the closure of parks, there are practically no places for walking in the city.
- According to Voronezh residents, young people come to the field and arrange photo sessions. Yes, oats are really beautiful in the sunset rays! Therefore, there are a great many different trodden paths, - the ufologist continues. - But the circles are in the center of the field, and the fans of photo shoots don't go that far. I think the original calculation of the counterfeiters was that the figures would be seen from the windows of nearby houses. But that did not happen. Then, apparently, a quadcopter was purposefully launched. There is nothing more to fly there. The impression that someone made these circles out of boredom. But it is worth saying that we have met better quality fakes.
By the arrival of the researchers, several more figures were trampled on the field: a small circle, a square and lines. According to ufologists, the quality of these "geoglyphs" is even worse than the original ones.
Our other interlocutors did not even dare to seriously discuss the pieces on the field. They say, in appearance, it is obvious that someone was indulging. To create such "mysterious objects" you do not even need a technique, a heavy stick and a little preliminary calculations. We checked: it is really not very difficult to find such a tutorial on the Internet.
FROM THE HISTORY
Reports of anomalous phenomena in the Voronezh region appear from time to time. But it cannot be said that this happens often. For example, in 2018, ufologists became interested in the village of Kaverye, Ramon district. Then the locals reported a pink fog that "threw in space." A year earlier, a cultural center in the village of Morozovka, Rossoshansky District, became famous in one thematic program. DK employees claimed that they were being watched by an otherworldly force.
But these examples cannot be compared with the 1989 event. That fall, a UFO allegedly landed in Voronezh South Park. According to local residents, the humanoids made 10 landings. The aliens were dressed in silvery suits and glowed brightly. They reached some invisible line, sparkled and evaporated. For a long time, local enthusiasts tried to comprehend and study this phenomenon.
