A well-known truth says that the past cannot be returned. However, cases have been recorded when people and material objects from the past are somehow incomprehensibly transferred to our time. Although at first glance this phenomenon looks like a miracle, it has its own explanation.

What is the nature of time and what it is capable of, no one knows. The riddles presented to them do not fit into the mind. These include the so-called whirlpools of time, when its smooth course is unexpectedly interrupted and people and material objects caught in these "whirlwinds" are inexplicably transferred from the past to the present. Such anomalies occur not only on land, sea and sky, but also in space.

On the ground

There is the island of Ischia in the Tyrrhenian Sea, which is occupied by German tourists all year round. This place is quiet, time flows there slowly, but, of course, not so much that a person could confuse the past hours with the years. This only happens with memory lapses. This is exactly what the case with Kurt Rainer looked like.

In August 1997, this 25-year-old, dirty and scratched, limped, walked to the entrance to the Poseidon Gardens Thermal Park. He told the clerk that he went downhill on a motorcycle, apparently suffered a concussion and was now poorly aware of where he was. The doctor came running, gave Reiner an injection and sent him to the hospital. The next day he felt better, he gave his name, surname and the hotel where he was staying. But when they called there, it turned out that there was no Reiner on the guest list.

The police were able to establish that in 1981 a German tourist named Rainer was actually staying at this hotel, who then disappeared mysteriously. Investigation then concluded that he most likely drowned while swimming in the sea off the beach. Over the years since then, his parents have died. His brother came for Rainer, who recognized him as Kurt, who was considered dead, and took him home. Where he was all this time remained a mystery.

In the sky

In 1961, an American pilot flew over Ohio. The weather was disgusting. The plane now and then dived into the clouds, and in the gaps between them the sun hit the pilot in the eyes. Therefore, emerging from the next cloudy "milk", the pilot did not immediately notice another plane several tens of meters in front of him. He miraculously managed to avoid a collision, but still struck the side of another car with the end of the wing.

After landing, the pilot filed an incident report. He argued that the plane he nearly collided with looked like a WWI aircraft. According to his description, it was a single-seat biplane, with fabric-covered wings and wires between them, and in the open cockpit there was a pilot in a leather helmet and large glasses. The officers responsible for flight safety decided that the cause of the almost accident was a copy of an old plane, made for the filming of a historical film.

However, a few months later, in an abandoned hangar at one of the private airfields, a biplane was accidentally discovered, exactly similar to the one described in the report by the American pilot. The experts came to the conclusion that it was impossible to fly on it - it would crumble from dilapidation and, therefore, could not be the cause of the flight accident.

The case was finally confused by the logbook found in the cockpit. It contained an entry dated 1911. The pilot wrote that during the last flight he almost collided with "a large silvery airplane of an amazing design", which was rushing at great speed and struck the side of his car with the end of its wing.

On board the biplane, the experts actually found a scratch, in which there were microparticles of paint and aluminum, which completely coincided in their composition with the material of a modern aircraft that almost collided with the "whatnot".

It turned out to be something fantastic: the biplane not only made a 50-year chronal leap, but also returned back to its time!

On the sea

In 1962, an Argentine Navy patrol boat spotted a submarine in coastal waters. However, when he went to her, she instantly dived and did not appear again, although the coast guard ships were on duty in this square for several days. During the 'check it was found that the number on its wheelhouse belonged to one of the submarines of Nazi Germany, sunk in the Atlantic during the Second World War.

During stormy seasons, none of the captains dare to enter the Namibian port of Walvis Bay, the approaches to which are blocked by reefs. Pilot Chris Hilkom was very surprised when at night he was urgently called and informed that some steamer was giving warning signals by a searchlight near the entrance to Whale Bay. The ship's radio station is silent, but, apparently, the ship is in distress. Therefore, the pilot will have to go to it and enter the port.

… In the light of the searchlight, they read on board the name of the mysterious vessel - "Star of Dunedin"! But it sank at this very place in front of the entrance to Whale Bay in the fall of 1942, that is, 35 years ago!

During the war, German raiders and submarines attacked ships of the anti-Hitler coalition throughout the entire water area of the World Ocean. Therefore, the British liner "Star of Dunedin", sailing from Luanda to Cape Town, kept as close to the coast as possible in order to somehow protect itself. Near Walvis Bay, he ran into an underwater rock and sank.

If there was a long-sunken liner in front of the pilot boat, which miraculously rose from the bottom, then there was no point in landing on it, Khilkom considered. It will stay afloat until the morning, in the afternoon they will decide what to do with it. However, when dawn broke, there was no ship in front of the entrance to Whale Bay.

But the most dramatic incident happened in 1992. It was witnessed by Norwegian fishermen who caught herring in the North Atlantic. On December 14, a ship's engine went bad on a seiner and the ship drifted to rectify the problem. Suddenly before the eyes of the sailors from the depths of the ocean, as it seemed to them, a huge ship surfaced. Many passengers rushed about its decks in panic. People screamed, cried and begged for help. Some threw themselves overboard into the icy waves. Norwegian fishermen froze in horror, many were baptized: it was the Titanic known to all sailors! A few minutes later, he went under water again.

Due to a broken engine, the Norwegians could not approach the crash site to save people floating in the icy water. They only gave a radiogram about this incredible event. She was received at the headquarters of the US Navy in the North Atlantic. A military ship urgently headed for the indicated area. He managed to lift 13 people from the water, who were wearing life jackets with the inscription "Titanic". And here's what is amazing: they were all alive!

And then the veil of secrecy fell on this downright fantastic case. The Pentagon declined to provide any information. The Norwegian government, at the request of the United States, banned its fishermen from telling anyone about the incident, but over time, the leak did occur.

An expert on maritime disasters Phillin Starnes told reporters: “Perhaps in this case there was a movement of the liner and people in time and their transition to another space-time dimension. I can only confirm that on December 14, 1992, the Titanic appeared on the surface, and there were living people on board."

In space

On March 26, 1991, a capsule with the American astronaut Charles Gibson splashed down in the Atlantic. It was launched into space back in 1963. After NASA's radio communication with him was interrupted, and the Gemeni spacecraft itself disappeared from orbit, Gibson was believed to have died under mysterious circumstances. When the capsule was fished out and opened, it turned out that the astronaut was alive! How he existed for 28 years on a ship with a supply of oxygen and food for only six months and where he got out of orbit of his Gemini remains a mystery.

After returning to Earth, Gibson underwent quarantine and medical rehabilitation at Edward Air Force Base in California. His condition was scrupulously studied by specialists of various profiles, but this did not clarify what happened.

The NASA spokesman limited himself to a very vague message:

“Physically, astronaut Charles Gibson is doing well, but completely disoriented. He is not aware of his long absence on Earth. The mental state of the astronaut leaves much to be desired, and his words cannot be linked into one whole. When asked where ph had been for so many years, Gibson invariably answered: "Never again, no way!"
