The nuclear submarine "Kursk" crashed and sank on 12 August 2000 in the Barents Sea. According to the official version, it led to death - a torpedo explosion in the compartment of the ship. However, to this day, many contradictions remain in this case, such a number of details do not fit with the statements of the investigating commission, which raises a logical question: was the official version the only correct one?

The death of Kursk occurred during an exercise in the Barents Sea. On August 12, a nuclear submarine (nuclear submarine) detected a training target. Captain Lyachin received the go-ahead for the attack, after which the connection was interrupted. The noise of the explosion was mistaken on neighboring ships for launching torpedoes.

On August 13, an "emergency" was announced at the command post. Experts pointed out that the submarine did not throw the emergency buoy - a sign that the disaster struck instantly.

On August 14, the naval commander reported the incident to the president. Only by the sounds from the bottom of the sea were they able to establish where the nuclear submarine was. Experts examined the submarine lying on the ground with the help of the Kolokol rescue vehicle and found a large torn hole in the torpedo tubes, and in the hull there were many cracks and serious fractures.

The rescue catapult mechanism is jammed. But the reactors were shut down. The press service of the Navy officially announced that the connection with the submarine was established by "knock method" and that "the crew is alive." The Commander-in-Chief of the Navy Kuroyedov said that there were casualties in the submerged unit, the submarine corps would not give in to the rise and the only thing that could be done was to try to save people, although "there is little hope." On August 15, the headquarters reported that by August 18 the submarine would run out of oxygen.

On August 16, rescue operations continued, but to no avail. Communication with the boat's crew was still maintained. The hospital ship "Svir" went to sea, air ambulance planes and helicopters were on duty all day long. They could not establish the supply of oxygen to the aircraft. A submarine of the British submarine rescue service offered its help. At the same time, the Russian president made an official statement. By 16.00 it became known that the submariners had stopped responding to signals from the outside at night …

The next day, Norway sent 12 deep divers to participate in the rescue work. Headquarters representatives said that the crew conserves oxygen and restricts themselves in movements. A closed meeting of members of the government commission was held on the flagship. Russia agreed to NATO's offer to assist in the rescue of the crew.

On August 20, the Norwegians descended to the rescue lock and turned off the valve. The outer hatch was opened on 21 August. And at 17.00 the headquarters of the fleet officially announced that the crew of the Kursk had died. The military prosecutor's office of the Northern Fleet raised the issue of initiating a criminal case into the accident.

What actually happened to the Kursk? A collision with a foreign submarine, which caused a hit to the bottom and an explosion of ammunition, is one of the most plausible explanations for the death of Kursk. A "thick" torpedo was tested on the submarine, but they did not manage to create a special rack. On board were representatives of the research institute, who used racks from other torpedoes. Therefore, the "fat woman" was not securely secured enough and could detonate upon impact, which occurred as a result of an attempt to prevent a collision with another boat.

On the ram, dents are shown in the center of the hull from the starboard side in rooms 2 and 1 of compartments. It is known that two American and one British submarines were in the exercise area. The hydroacoustics of other ships "saw" a foreign submarine at the scene of the accident, and radio intercepts showed that the American submarine urgently requested permission to enter the Norwegian port for repairs.

I. Klebanov, head of the government commission investigating the causes of the disaster, said that the collision took place. But a Pentagon spokesman declined to comment on the presence of US Navy submarines in the exercise area. Immediately after the accident, there was a conversation on the "red line" between Putin and Clinton, confidential talks between the American president and the director of the CIA took place. There was no official statement about the non-involvement of US and NATO submarines in the death of the Kursk.

The version about the involvement of one of the dry cargo ships in the accident was declared untenable, since river vessels do not go here, and larger "trucks" work under contracts only in the Black Sea. In addition, all civilian ships were examined. No traces of a ram were found on any of them.

It is not without reason that the submarine was sent to the bottom by the heavy cruiser "Peter the Great", on board which there is a secret installation, which is equipped with nine-ton missiles. There is evidence that the missile fired by the cruiser fell in the area where the Kursk was. An indirect confirmation of this gloomy version can be the statements of specialists that they have never encountered such non-standard and extremely serious damage.

One of the commission's assumptions was that an old mine was being sucked into a torpedo tube. But the author of this assumption did not take into account one detail: the diameter of the submarine's torpedo tube is about 700 mm, and the diameter of the mine is about 900 mm …

An interesting material for thought is given by hydroacoustic data: American submarines recorded two underwater explosions, while the second was more powerful. Perhaps, according to American experts, the torpedo exploded in the launcher, causing the detonation of the ammunition. The same two explosions were registered by the Norwegian Institute of Seismic Research and seismologists from other countries.

The coordinates of the area of underwater tremors, one of which was similar to an earthquake of 3.5 points, coincide with the place where the Kursk was destroyed. True, the Norwegians claim that the first explosion was much more powerful. Records of American submarines show that the interval between explosions is 136 seconds, and after 240 seconds. after the first, the submarine hit the ground. But from the seismogram of the station it follows that the interval between pulses is 180 seconds, and there were no other sources of seismic vibrations. Thus, the first impulse could be caused by the collision of submarines, and the second by the detonation of torpedoes.

Despite the commission's assurances that the Navy had done everything in its power to rescue the Kursk crew, the British rescue team accused the Russian military of deliberately interfering with the work.

In Murmansk, soon after the death of Kursk, bad rumors spread that the military did not carry out work at all: there were no specialists, money, equipment. And everything that was reported officially was nothing more than fiction. Of course, such statements do not correspond to the truth, but there is a bitter grain of truth in them: the search and rescue service of the Northern Fleet was liquidated in the mid-1990s due to a lack of funds for maintenance. And the command either did not realize, or did not want to call from the "civilian" professional deep-divers.

Lie about the death of Kursk

The whole story of the Kursk's sinking is steeped in lies. Why did Peter the Great stand on the roadstead right above the submarine for a year? Why did you need to raise the nuclear submarine? After all, a year ago they carried out a burial according to the sea rite, and the relatives of the victims asked not to disturb the peace of the dead and not to injure the psyche of the living with a repeated farewell.

They tried to explain the rise by the danger of nuclear contamination. But the submarine "Komsomolets" that had sunk earlier was not raised…. They started lying about the accident from the first day. On August 14, the press service of the Russian Navy announced that the submarine lay down on the ground on August 13 due to "minor problems", that communication with it was maintained and that it would soon return to base.

Officials reported knocks from the nuclear submarine, rescue operations that had begun, the strongest bottom current and a 30 ° roll of the submarine. They talked about supplying the crew with energy and hot food, about the presence of an emergency supply of air on board, which should be enough until August 21. In fact, the submarine lay on the bottom without a bank, the bottom current was weak, and the visibility was satisfactory. No one even tried to stretch air hoses and electrical cables to the submarine.

The submarine did not immediately lay down on the keel. 12-18 hours she stood at an angle of 25-30 °, burying her nose in the bottom. At the same time, the aft escape hatch was located 30–40 meters from the surface, from where a person emerges without breathing apparatus and where light scuba divers can work.

All that was necessary at that moment was to hook the Kursk to the propeller shafts with cables from the ships, which would keep the Kursk's position, convenient for scuba divers, for 2-3 days. Instead, all forces were thrown into forging documents. As you can see, the rescue of the submariners was not included in the plans of the fleet command. Indeed, for 2 minutes, the submarine commander gave the last orders to the crew via the public address system, briefly reporting the cause of the disaster.

The surviving submariners became inconvenient witnesses for the perpetrators of the accident. Already after the official completion of the rescue operation, they suddenly announced that an explosion, a fire with the release of gases, flooding and an increase in pressure to 10-11 atmospheres led to the almost instant death of the crew. Maybe…

However, in that case, who could shut down the reactor and write the suicide notes, dated by no means August 12? They tried to explain the knocks from inside the boat by the fact that the acoustics confused the sounds of destruction of structures with blows to the side. Just confuse regular signals with the grinding of bulkheads or the fall of mechanisms, this simply cannot be! And one more thing: the submarine was divided into two parts by the reactor compartment, and based on the volume of air retained in the compartments, it is possible to assert that there were living people here until August 18. And several sailors had to live at least until 20-21. In this case, the termination of the rescue operation is tantamount to a crime.

The official version about the explosion of ammunition contains a number of oddities. The hydrazine and oxidizer of the torpedo engine are located in different containers with a wall thickness greater than 12 mm, which excludes their mechanical damage. Only a simultaneous failure of three internal torpedo systems, each of which was duplicated three times, could lead to spontaneous combustion of fuel. The probability of a catastrophe in this case is one in hundreds of billions.

And even on this fantastic occasion, there is an automatic foam extinguishing system that extinguishes a fire in 1 minute. For detonation, the fire had to last at least 40 minutes, which would not be enough fuel in the torpedo engine! And the submarine commander in case of a fire would simply give the command to surface, which would take 2-3 minutes. Perhaps a large surface object prevented the submarine from rising to the surface?

And finally, the statement about two peaks of seismic disturbances - the results of a torpedo explosion and detonation of ammunition. And where is the impact on the bottom of a body weighing 20 thousand tons? From the point of view of the laws of mechanics, such an object cannot fall silently! The seismic-acoustic picture suggests that the second peak of disturbance is the collision of the bow of the hull with rocky ground. And the first is a glancing blow from another submarine or a heavy surface ship.

Maybe Admiral Kuznetsov is to blame for the Kursk accident? Moreover, the statement about the non-involvement of the aircraft carrier in the tragedy was never received. It is alarming that to this day the maps of the location of the ships of the fleet for August 12, 2000 have not been made public, the bottoms of large warships have not been monitored. Why?!

For some reason, even the bodies of the submariners were taken out in small portions, although for the sake of their quickest identification it was necessary to do this on the very first day. For some reason, only a little more than a third of the total number of the crew was removed from the submarine. More than once it was reported that the bodies from the 9th compartment were under terrible rubble. But after all, Kolesnikov wrote in a note that 23 people moved from the 8th to the 9th compartment when the submarine was already lying at the bottom, and there were no more explosions and strikes. How could the bodies end up in the rubble?

It was emphasized at the press conference that it would be possible to talk about the causes of the accident only after lifting the 1st compartment. But the head of the Central Design Bureau "Rubin" I. Spassky said that no one was going to raise it. Like, there is no guarantee that all torpedoes available there exploded. But the compartment was examined more than once and such a guarantee was given. They were not afraid to raise the submarine, which contained 22 unexploded Granit missiles and a nuclear reactor! And why does the second farewell note contain the words: "We were killed"?

The families of the victims accuse the government of hiding the facts in order to avoid the trial of high-ranking officers. Their lawyer B. Kuznetsov said that "there is a clear discrepancy between the detailed investigation carried out by an independent expert and the conclusions of the official report."

The lawyer disputes the results of the examination of the bodies, points out that the defense does not have copies of the logbooks and hydroacoustics logs, insists on examining the letters of the sailors. There is an assumption about the partial destruction of documents … Representatives of the defense are convinced that the sailors who moved to the 9th compartment lived there much longer than the experts established.

The wording of the official closure of the case indicates the absence of corpus delicti … Why is the content of 38 volumes of this criminal case classified as a state secret?
