A sports fisherman over Lake McClure, located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada in the US state of California, photographed a bright blue spherical UFO on March 7, 2017.
A resident of the small town of Snelling went to the lake to prepare for the upcoming fishermen competition. According to his report to the World UFO Network (MUFON), he decided to check his surroundings. Looking around, the fisherman noticed an unusual rainbow sector in the light cirrus clouds.
He took several shots and only in the evening, returning home and posting photos on Facebook, he noticed that in some of the shots there is a blue ball surrounded by a translucent blue glow.
Several photographs showing a spherical object showed the trajectory of its movement. The ball was at first above the rainbow, then sank closer to the sun, moved to its right and disappeared.
Such luminous objects, which often appear near water bodies, cannot be seen with normal vision, so they can only be photographed completely by accident.
