I sometimes re-read some of the articles that I liked, which, unfortunately, are too few. These are the ones that give some benefit to a person, other than interest. Such an article, the topic of which I decided to continue, was the article by Dmitry Shamenkov "The shortest path to better health" in "TD" No. 6. It is about how dishonesty affects our health.

Dishonesty or lying is deceiving another person. In other words, a lie is a discrepancy between word and deed. Most often this is expressed in the failure to fulfill promises. But the most dangerous lie is political, through the media. This is already a weapon of the Cold War, when whole nations are sick.

Today I will talk about internal dishonesty, or, better to say, about the inconsistency of the psyche, which is no less, if not more, because of its unconsciousness, is harmful to health. This is primarily a discrepancy between thoughts and words, but not only. Distortion can occur unintentionally, but due to uncertainty, which, in turn, manifests itself from an internal dialogue, between the truth of the breaking through of the voice of the soul and the viruses of consciousness induced by society, false programs of the mind that a person is used to passing off as his own. A person feels that he is losing himself and anxiety settles in him - the source of first mental, and then physical illnesses.

Are mental illnesses dangerous?

Let's not talk about extremes, when such a disease leads to suicide, especially to such tragedies when a suicide pilot pulled hundreds of people to the next world. This is considered an exception. But at the same time, this is a consequence of certain reasons, which, due to the absence of causal thinking, are not tracked. They are noticed only when they manifest massively, say, in diseases, and even then not always, as in the case of allergies.

I don’t see anyone connecting these reasons with the development of the chemical industry in the 60s, which promised to replace not only wood, but even metal. Neither happened. The forest is being cut down in increasing quantities, but because of fertilizers and washing powders there are fewer fish, and more sick people. True, cheap algin caviar appeared, not far from artificial fish. Crab sticks are the first swallow. And there it is not far to biorobots, reproducing themselves and displacing human aborigines.

Our mind is a cultivating instrument

Can this really happen? Maybe if you leave it as it is. Here's some information for thought: in the Netherlands, a referendum held by a majority vote supported same-sex marriage, and this is no longer a government "phase shift", but a whole nation. This is already an epidemic of immorality that can infect all of humanity. From one disease - fascism - Europe was saved, albeit at the cost of tens of millions of lives. But this was a clear danger to humanity. And this disease, like cancer, begins without visible symptoms, without obvious harm and pain, but it is also dangerous because it becomes incurable over time when it becomes a critical mass of negative consciousness.

I have cited only the visible diseases of the imperfect mind, but it is not known what else can await us if it remains the master. It's like letting your child play with matches, sharp objects, or weapons. It is necessary to instill in children cosmic laws from kindergarten, including the Law of Hierarchy. When not an ordinary person, but an editor asks me such a question: “And for what age is your book“New Pedagogy”designed?, Then it becomes clear to me what level the average statistical mind is at. Therefore, it is very difficult to explain that I am writing not for children, but for adults, even without children, i.e. to educate your own child first - the mind. And when they ask me: "At what age can you start raising a child?", I answer: "Before birth."

Children learn not by words, but by the actions of adults and empathically. And when they feel deceit, i.e. the discrepancy between the thoughts, words and deeds of adults, they too early switch to the independence of their immature mind. And, having become adults, in their minds they remain children, not engaged in self-improvement of their consciousness.

So who is the boss in the house?

Everyone knows that when there is no owner in the house, it is a mess. It's the same in the country. All these parliamentary republics and democracies are not viable. This is not only history, but also modern life proves. The word "democracy", understood as the rule of the people, flatters immature minds with the illusion of elections of power. What do you think, why is a poll to determine the rating of candidates done before the elections? Maybe it is not done at all? Maybe this whole backstage kitchen is being cooked up in order to use human psychology: "I am like everyone else!" It also manifests itself on a conscious level. You may ask anyone: "Who did you vote for?" They answer: "I am like everyone else!" But how did he know how everyone voted? Naturally, from the pre-election rating. Otherwise, how can you explain why the people of Ukraine, opposed to the oligarchs, again chose one of them?

I cite this example in order to draw a conclusion: it is necessary not only to develop independence of thought in oneself, but also, recognizing the deep truth, to listen to wiser people who have accumulated a rich life experience, and not to rely on slipped up election campaigning. To further strengthen this conclusion, let us turn to the evolution of the mind, or rather, the brain - an instrument of the mind.

How our brain developed

Everyone knows that all our organs, at some stage of maturation, stop their further development and even begin to lose their functionality. Everything except the brain. The brain, on the contrary, is developing more and more. And if you still do it on purpose, then its abilities increase significantly.

Korean scientist Ilchi Li names three stages in the evolution of the brain: reptilian (instinctive), animal (reactive), and human (analytical). Snakes do not feel anger, and animals do not reason, this is inherent only in humans, he claims.

These three stages can be traced in the development of each person from birth. Small children live only by instincts, then they have emotions, and only with the accumulation of experience they begin to analyze and reason. Such an accelerated development, in comparison with a million-year evolution, is possible only thanks to the surrounding society. Isolate a person - and he remains a reptile, if he survives at all. At best, it will become an animal like Mowgli. We draw another conclusion: mental abilities that enhance survival depend on the environment, i.e. from communication.

Communication develops abilities, and sociability is the most important ability. Sociability (sociability) is the ability to correctly convey and perceive information. “Right” - because there are rules in communication, non-observance of which leads, at best, to misunderstanding, at worst - to conflict. And the dispute only in the scientific world leads to the truth. In everyday life, it leads to stomach ulcers, and even to physical injury. Misunderstanding leads to a decrease in abilities, and therefore to a weakening of survival.

The basic rules of communication are as follows. Firstly, you need to speak in an understandable language, in small portions of information and on an interesting topic for both. The giver of the information should wait for an answer or at least a nod to make sure that he is understood. This rule of dialogue applies to both parties so as not to speak at the same time. Otherwise, the dialogue will be, as in that proverb: "One about Thomas, the other about Eremu." This seems to be nothing new, but look what our main “teacher”, television, teaches us, especially in political debates.

Violation of the rules of communication leads to misunderstanding, which means it is a veiled lie. This is especially evident when parents cut off the child with the words: "Do not ask stupid questions." The hidden truth is the same lie. This distortion of communication leads to getting stuck in a neurosis called "craving for answers", which he will try to satisfy from other, possibly also false, sources. If he does not find an answer there, then he falls into another, even more dangerous trap of misunderstanding, causing some kind of fear, most often lack of self-confidence, reducing his vitality, resulting in further illness.

Conclusion: parents, if they want their child to develop successfully and not get sick, need to be very attentive to his questions. And in general, communicate more with him, observing the rules, not only listening, but also hearing, not only answering, but also asking him, prompting him to think.

What we seek is what we find

If a hunter trades with sable, then he is not distracted by squirrels. The mind is designed so that it sees only what its attention is directed to, in other words, what it wants to see. This should be especially well understood by those who are engaged in the development of abilities, i.e. parents and teachers who often pay attention not to abilities, but, on the contrary, to their absence. And this applies not only to upbringing, but also to education. After all, the teacher is exclusively busy looking for errors, i.e. not what the disciple knows, but what he does not know. This means that it is not confidence, success and abilities that stimulate, but, on the contrary, their absence.

And this is also known to everyone from the school curriculum in biology, on the topic of education (reinforcement) of conditioned reflexes. Unfortunately, only the trainers have fully adopted the “carrot” technique. They reinforce the ability not only with attention, but also with something desired. Parents who rely on threats and punishments, without knowing it, reinforce with their attention the shortcomings they are struggling with. And that's why. For children, especially those deprived of parental attention, even the "whip" becomes a gift, while ignoring them, deprivation of communication is a punishment. Therefore, making sure that their good deeds do not attract attention, they get used to bad ones. Takeaway for wise parents: re-focus your attention on good deeds and stimulate them with rewards, at least verbal.

A person is as alive as he is free

This statement is also difficult to prove without understanding freedom, for example, how to explain weightlessness. Probably, it is easier to understand non-freedom, i.e. limitation, which in turn leads to the limitation of the mind and its ability to understand. And any misunderstanding is fraught with a threat, the cause of one of the forms of fear. From this, again, we can conclude: education on fear limits abilities, and therefore, vitality.

An experiment was once conducted with two lambs, one of which was placed in a cage next to a wolf. And although the lambs were fed equally, the neighboring wolf died of exhaustion a month later. So the stress from constant fear affected him. Conclusion: physics depends on the psyche, and the psyche depends on the falsity of understanding. If in the place of the lamb there was a person who is aware of his safety, guaranteed by the strength of the cage, then he, perhaps, would also have died, but later and for another reason - from immobility. But I could have prolonged my life with exercise. And if I trained not only the body, but also the mind, then in my reflections I would come to the discovery that not only in a healthy body there is a healthy mind, but also a healthy mind makes the body healthy.

For example, an experiment was conducted with three groups of basketball players. One trained as usual, the other was resting, and the third was engaged in autogenic (mental) training. A month later, the results of the ball hitting the basket were checked. The average result of the group that did not train at all was naturally very low. But the group engaged in auto-training, surprisingly, was lower than the main one by only two balls out of twenty.

Unfortunately, our society, thanks to the existing education system, aimed at results, not a process, does not stimulate students to further self-education. And everything that is not involved atrophies.
