"Petrozavodsk Marvel" is a UFO event that happened in the early morning of September 20, 1977 in the city of Petrozavodsk. A disk-shaped object of large size, first hovered over the central street of the city, and then over Lake Onega and emitted rays, presumably causing the appearance of round and oval holes in the windows of a number of residential buildings. Many residents later found melted glass "cakes" with a diameter of several centimeters on their windowsills.
Due to the wide public resonance, the phenomenon attracted the attention of the scientific community. The conclusion that followed from the analysis of Soviet scientists was that the scale of the phenomenon was apparently too large to be explained by some technical experiments in satellite orbits. It was the Petrozavodsk phenomenon that prompted the USSR to launch a large-scale project "Grid" dedicated to the study of UFOs.
Let's try to proceed from the version that the grandiose Petrozavodsk phenomenon was a correspondingly encrypted omen of some very important event. As you know from the reports of ufologists, the "ray rain" with which the UFO seemed to watered the city, forced the population to wake up, caused anxiety and strong anxiety in many. It is therefore logical to assume that a future alarming situation associated with certain rays, which would affect a large number of people, was implied.
Such an incident in the USSR after 9 years was the Chernobyl accident. Its painful consequences were felt over a long period over a vast territory: the population of the USSR and European countries was extremely alarmed by the threat of exposure due to the fallout of radioactive rains.
Does this version fit the fact of the appearance of mysterious round holes in the glass? The diameters of the holes were different, but, as is known from the school mathematics course, the universal value for all circles is the number "Pi" equal to 3.14. If you calculate the interval from the Petrozavodsk diva to the Chernobyl accident, you get a very similar number - 3 140 days.
The immediate cause of the explosion was that the cylindrical graphite rods, which were supposed to descend into the reactor core for an emergency stop of the nuclear reaction, jammed. It is generally accepted that this happened due to a sharp increase in steam pressure in the reactor. But this could happen, for example, if the holes where the rods entered would melt and slightly change their shape. An ufological illustration of this possibility is provided by round and oval holes with melted edges in the windows of Petrozavodsk residents.

Consider another example where pi plays a key role in solving. It will be about the largest drawing in the history of the field, which appeared on August 12, 2001 in Milk Hill, in the British county of Wiltshire. This huge and intricate creation can be roughly compared to an airplane propeller or a submarine propeller. By analogy with the scheme with the history in Petrozavodsk, suppose that this grandiose drawing foreshadows some event of extreme importance.
The drawing consists of 409 circles and has a diameter of 267 meters. The simplest action suggests itself - calculating the circumference. As you know from the school mathematics course, for this you need to multiply the diameter by the number "Pi". It will turn out, to the nearest whole, 838 meters. Obviously, the result has nothing to do with any event of global significance over the past years.
But here we should remember about the experience of contacts with UFOs concerning "Pi". Namely, the following case of anomalous radio echo occurrence is widely known: during the pursuit of a mysterious submarine UFO by an American warship, a signalman at the post released the number "Pi" in the form of a radio signal. A few seconds later, the answer came, which was the inverse of Pi, that is, 1 / 3.14.
The parallel with the submarine fleet is that the sign appeared on the field on August 12, on the anniversary of the tragedy of the Kursk submarine, which means that there is a reason to apply the concept of "inversion" to the circumference obtained above. The result is 1/838 = 0.00119 to three significant digits. It easily guesses the date of the terrorist attack in New York - 11.9, committed using passenger aircraft with turboprop engines.
The number of circles is also important. The simplest verbal description of this symmetrical pattern looks like this: 6 "propeller" blades are depicted using 408 circles of different sizes (the remaining central circle is the axial hole). In the opposite reading, the numbers from this phrase indicate the time of the terrorist attack at 8:46, which, together with the fateful date, forever entered the history of America.
