The study of this territory began back in the 80s of the last century, but scientists have not yet come to a common opinion.
Starting from the ancient world, when, for example, in India they talked about vimanas (soaring in the air of the royal palaces), people all over the world say that they witnessed UFOs. As you know, this term refers to an unidentified flying object, whose affiliation cannot be explained by terrestrial observers. Over time, the population of the planet began to give the word UFO necessarily an alien characteristic. Moreover, a whole quasi-science called ufology has emerged, which studies the phenomenon of unidentified flying objects. This research discipline is controversial. However, it has existed to this day, since the 40s of the last century.
Often people add about all other phenomena or events that they cannot explain in human language. Everything supernatural and unusual finds one definition in people - "this is a UFO." At the same time, those who believe in the existence of otherworldly forces very often talk about certain places where such astral entities manifest themselves especially clearly. Such a site, by the way, is located in the Voronezh region. It is considered one of the most mysterious in all of Russia, and attracts ufologists from all over the country. And more than that - the whole world.
This is the so-called Novokhopersk anomaly. It is located in the east of our region. Specifically - on the left bank of the majestic Khoper River. According to geologists, in the area of the local lake Zheltoyar 4 billion years ago, a tectonic plate fracture occurred. And so, from a certain time, the Novokhopersk population, and after it others, began to talk about the abnormality of the place. Say, the rift is a portal that connects our world with other dimensions.
For example, local residents said that they had long seen incomprehensible phenomena in the area of Lake Zheltoyar - various circles in the air, human silhouettes, noises. Over the years, the Khoper residents have become so accustomed to such a neighborhood that they stopped paying attention to it. On the other hand, scientists from different parts of the world, on the contrary, have only just rekindled their interest in the rift.
The most famous study of this place is considered to be the work of the Soviet spectroscopist Genrikh Silanov. In 1985, this specialist organized an expedition to the anomalous zone. The scientist conducted a number of experiments in the area of Lake Zheltoyar and the neighboring so-called energy meadow. Unique material was collected, both by the nature of the anomaly itself, and by contacts with extraterrestrial civilizations. In particular, Mr. Silanov allegedly saw images of soldiers of the Great Patriotic War in the air (and the fighting in the area of Zheltoyar was fierce).

And then the cadets of the Borisoglebsk Aviation School, when they flew over the specified place, allegedly saw glowing balls. This UFO seemed to have an interest in airplanes.
In 2016, the journalist "Notebook Voronezh" visited the site of the Khopersky fault. The first place was Lake Zhelotoyar. It greeted the correspondent with deathly silence. There was no chirping of birds or the chirping of insects. The space was immersed in gloomy silence. A withered, broken tree stood on the shore of the lake. It organically complemented the gloomy mystical landscape of the anomalous place. And here the journalist was in for a surprise.
A small Save and Preserve icon was attached to the broken tree. It was visible only up close, as if someone intentionally wanted to hide the location of this religious attribute.
“They’re talking about a man,” said a local grazing cows nearby. - In these places there are a lot of different kinds of sorcerers, miracle workers and warlocks. Here, someone, someone, most likely, spoke so that he could have a life like this tree … Do not touch this icon. This prophet will still be rewarded in heaven.
The next place, where the journalist had to go on that expedition, was the same energy glade where Genrikh Silanov saw mysterious glowing balls and images of soldiers of the Great Patriotic War. They appeared near a lonely growing bush, from which a tree protrudes (according to the statement of ufologists, the Geiger counter recorded exactly 0 roentgens in this place - editor's note).
What is the so-called energy glade? It is an open space in the middle of a forest, several hectares in size. It resembles a football field, where a lone bush and tree grow almost in the center. It was there that the geologist Silanov saw mysterious silhouettes. Like on Lake Zheltoyar, in 2016, the journalist was met with deathly silence on the energy glade.
However, the correspondent did not notice any anomalies. Only later, when photographs of the meadow were viewed in the editorial office of "Notebook Voronezh", was it noticed that one of them showed strange outlines of a human face.
