What is the monument famous for?

Historians consider the St. Petersburg monument to the commander special.

Firstly, this is the first monument to an uncrowned person in the Russian Empire.

Secondly, this is the first monument erected to an uncrowned person during her lifetime. According to official dates, work on the monument began in 1799, and Count Suvorov died in 1800. It fell a little short of the opening day of the personal monument, which was installed in 1801.

The fact that the monument is to Prince Suvorov is written only on the pedestal plate. Which was redone in the 19th century. Other designations that it is Suvorov who is depicted are not found anywhere else.

And where is the count?

The mystery of the monument is that the bronze figure does not in any way resemble Alexander Suvorov. An antique warrior, dressed in armor and a cloak, stands on the pedestal. On the head is a helmet with a comb, in his hands a sword and a shield. Definitely Alexander Vasilievich did not dress like that.

But an even bigger question is caused by the complete dissimilarity of the face and figure of the bronze statue to the great commander. The monument has no external resemblance at all to Alexander Vasilyevich. How so? To which historians answer, they say, this is an allegorical image of the god of war Mars. So it was previously accepted to erect monuments not to personalities, but to gods. Like a military hero, a bronze deity of war.

However, in all his lifetime portraits, Count Suvorov is depicted not as a god of war, and not even in armor. He is wearing a camisole, he has no helmet or shield. And even in the portrait, painted in the year the work on the monument began, the Generalissimo has a completely human appearance and clothing.

There is only one portrait, which is believed to depict Suvorov in armor. But in what year this painting was written and by whom is unknown.

Why did the sculptor, making a personal monument to Suvorov, not give any portrait resemblance to the commander, and generally cast on the allegorical god Mars? But painters, unlike a sculptor, painted canvases with a living person in a camisole.

The most surprising thing is that no one notices another obvious contradiction in the naive babble of historians. Russia, early 19th century. Around the solid Orthodoxy, many churches and temples. People always attend services and prayers every day. The Church has tremendous power and influence. But with regard to Orthodox Christianity, ancient mythology is paganism.

And here in the capital a monument to the Roman god of war is being erected! But Christianity insists that there is no god but father and son. And here is some kind of Mars! Which is also a god. And the Orthodox community, together with priests and patriarchs, calmly perceives the erection in the capital of a monument to a pagan god with a Roman cock comb on his head. How could this happen?

Obviously, history and religion are lying, which is why such inconsistencies are formed. Moreover, historians consider people to be impassable dullards, unable to notice such an obvious contradiction.

Fake lettering

But this is not all the mysteries of the monument to Suvorov in St. Petersburg. Take a closer look at the base of the monument. There is an inscription on it in a circle: “1801. Produced by Kozlovskaya. Casting Ekimov . As if everything is correct.

But the letters are formed by indentations. They are engraved on the finished metal product.

When a metal inscription is made on an object made by casting, the letters are always protruding. Because when making a mold, it is much easier to make letters with indentations. When metal is poured into the mold, then on the finished product it turns out the opposite, the letters protrude.

See bells, memorial plaques, and other historical objects that were gouged. All of them have protruding letters.

Because none of the foundry workers will significantly complicate their work by making protruding letters in a casting mold. Which then will pour badly. They do everything in the best and most convenient way.

And even on the monument to Suvorov we are studying, the letter P with the number 1, denoting Paul the First, is made protruding on the chest of the statue.

An unpleasant question arises. Why is the inscription of the producers of the monument made not with protruding but with recessed letters? To which a logical answer comes - because it is very difficult to attach protruding letters to the finished statue. It is much easier to engrave them. No one will deliberately complicate their life.

But then doubts arise about the authenticity of the history of the monument. The date inscription on the base could be embossed at any time. At least a century after casting. That, together with other oddities of the monument (the pagan god of war, in no way similar to Suvorov), leads to bad suspicions.

It seems that this statue originally did not represent the great commander Suvorov, but someone else. Or Suvorov, who does not look like the current character from the official history. After another rewriting of the past, it was necessary to compose a new legend for objects that are difficult to destroy. It is much easier to rewrite the letters in a booklet than to take out a heavy monument to the trash. In addition, this action will not remain secret, the disappearance of the capital's statue will make a lot of noise.

Beauty. I wonder why there is no monument to Zhukov in the form of Mars? In the USSR, they treated Greek mythology well

Therefore, the monument to some ancient military man was renamed the monument to Suvorov. A new plaque was screwed onto the pedestal. And they knocked out the manufacturer's inscription with the date on the base of the statue. So that the descendants do not doubt.

Of course, contemporaries know who this statue stands for. But the next generation will already have a different concept. And even further, everyone will be sure that this is Prince Suvorov. It is written on the plate. And the year of creation is indicated. This is how history is rewritten.

You may suspect that this is generally a European monument, taken away by wild Russians in the hope of ennobling themselves with high Western culture. However, the shield of the statue depicts a Russian double-headed eagle with George the Victorious and as many as four crowns. And on the chest armor flaunts the convex sign of Paul the First - the Russian letter P with a unit. As you know, there is no letter P. in the Latin alphabet.

So the monument to the ancient military hero was made exactly in Russia. The history of which was greatly altered in the 19th century. Therefore, stupid tales have been written about the monument to Suvorov in the form of the pagan god of war Mars. And therefore the monument bears no resemblance to the portraits of the Generalissimo.

It's amazing how historians for so long managed to fool people's heads with such an obvious deception and a mass of inconsistencies in this monument. But the monument to Suvorov in St. Petersburg is only a small part of the real history of Russia.
