Focus or physical phenomenon?
Telekinesis (the ability of a person to move light objects by an effort of will), which in Soviet times they were afraid to even talk about so as not to be branded as crazy, unexpectedly burst onto the big screen. The film, filmed about paranormal phenomena, summarized the many years of work carried out with psychics, including a very serious researcher, Doctor of Technical Sciences, rector of the Leningrad Institute of Fine Mechanics and Optics (from 1974 to 1986) Gennady Dulnev. Scientists dealing with the problem of telekinesis assumed that it exists due to the interaction of physical fields known to science: magnetic, electric and acoustic. The Leningrad scientist tried to measure them, working with Ninel Kulagina.
Almost simultaneously with the experiments carried out in Leningrad, research on the phenomenon of Dzhuna Davitashvili was conducted in Moscow. At the Institute of Radio Engineering and Electronics, professors Yuri Gulyaev and Eduard Godik worked with her. The research results were both positive and negative at the same time. On the one hand, scientists have become convinced that the telekinesis of Kulagina and Davitashvili is not a trick or deception. On the other hand, it was not possible to give any reasonable scientific explanation of this phenomenon, although some instability of the electric, acoustic and magnetic fields was discovered.

In the early 90s, the problem of telekinesis and other unusual phenomena was dealt with at the P. L. Vasilieva. Its president, candidate of technical sciences, doctor of medical sciences, Andrei Li received his degree for a thesis on the problem of clairvoyance.
In the video, made at the Parapsychology Foundation, we see at first only running streaks of light. Then a stationary ball on a long rod, hidden under a glass cover, appears on the screen. A large male palm appears next to him. The ball shudders and slowly "backs away" from her. The palm moves to the other side, as if standing in the path of the ball. “We have accumulated quite a lot of such videos demonstrating telekinesis, although such phenomenal abilities are very rare in humans,” says Dr. Li. - However, the difficulty lies elsewhere. All telekinesis experiments are poorly reproducible. Today, a person's gift manifests itself, tomorrow it will not. And science largely draws its conclusions, guided by a statistical analysis of the results of experiments. Otherwise, all these cases look like more or less clever tricks."
“To enhance the effect of the phenomenon and to make it more reproducible,” continues Dr. Li, “in our Foundation's Strengthening Human Extrasensory Abilities, we combine the efforts of individual operators. This creates a kind of a single "biological organism" that affects the movement of objects."
Another video. Several people are lying on the couches in a circle, head to the center. Together, they must cause the rotation of the turntable installed in the center of the circle. To avoid the influence of air currents, a horizontally located spinner, mounted on the point of a vertical needle, was placed inside a glass cover treated with an antistatic agent.
First, the video camera sequentially shoots people lying on the couches, their concentrated faces, then it moves and shows a close-up view of the turntable under a glass cover. For a long time she is motionless. But then the propeller twitches and makes several turns.
Skeptics please shut up
Dr. Li is truly passionate about his work: “In seven groups, we examined 45 people. Before the group sessions, none of the subjects had any telekinesis ability. This was tested on the same turntable. But during the general sessions, each time we received a positive result. At the end of the course, some students retained their telekinesis abilities.
During group telekinesis, we conduct medical observations. A fairly large set of physiological parameters is determined with the help of devices. Analysis of their changes will allow us to come closer to a scientific explanation of this phenomenon. We also carry out special psychological testing, we determine the so-called profile of functional asymmetry. According to our observations, it is the nature of the asymmetry in the activity of the cerebral hemispheres that makes it possible to identify people with extrasensory inclinations already at the stage of preliminary selection.
We determine the optimal conditions for group telekinesis, for the use of technical means to synchronize people's efforts. for practicing meditative techniques. Without this, it is impossible to study telekinesis on a scientific basis.
People often turn to us with requests to test psychic abilities. Just a visitor came to us with a similar request, and it turned out that he had a gift, and a considerable one. I ask him to demonstrate the rotation of the turntable again."
The young man, who appeared in the room a few minutes later, sat down at the table and began to manipulate his hands, so far with no visible effect. For ten minutes we sit in silence. And suddenly the turntable shuddered, then swayed in one direction, in the other and began to rotate slowly.
Involuntarily I wanted to exclaim: "But still it turns!" Telekinesis seems to exist, no matter what the skeptics say.
Discoveries and hypotheses
The famous psychic Valery Avdeev once took part in experiments with microtelekinesis at the L. Vasiliev Parapsychology Foundation. Valery, with the help of his inner strength, changed the readings of the radiometer and deflected the laser beam. The result of human exposure to electrons and ions was. as they say, there is. But in the interpretation of this fact, scientists differed in opinion. Some believed that the psychic has the ability to change the intensity of radiation and bend the movement of the light beam, while others assumed that it acts directly on the devices.
The research of Andrey Lee, MD, produced interesting results, but they only touched on the psychological characteristics of telekinetic people and did not deal with the explanation of the physical causes of telekinesis. about which there are many assumptions.
The most logical hypothesis here seems to be that it considers a person and the objects around him not separately from each other, but as a single system. Changing with the help of his consciousness or subconsciousness a piece of space at one point, the psychic thereby causes shifts in another. The mechanism that carries out the physical movement of objects in space is supposedly the movement of the "superfluid vacuum", which was recently discovered by Russian scientists.
