Reykjavik, Iceland - Iceland's parliament has voted to classify all religions as weapons of mass destruction. Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism and Buddhism now fall into the same category as nuclear weapons, mustard gas, and chemical warfare agents.

The logic behind the declaration

Andrew Canard, one of the legislators who voted for the new law, expressed what many think in this largely atheistic country:

Weapons of mass destruction are, by definition, weapons capable of inflicting death and destruction on such a massive scale and so indiscriminately that their very presence in the hands of a hostile power can be considered a serious threat. Looking at the crusades, the jihadist wars, or how the evangelical oligarchy in America is destroying the planet, one can understand that faith is destructive on a massive scale.

“We recently took a similar measure with regard to Christianity,” he said. "We in parliament considered it necessary for people to know that all religion is a mental disorder and at the same time dangerous."

Iceland also recommends that those who are addicted to drugs of religion look for local branches of Believers Anonymous, similar to Alcoholics Anonymous.

FOX News is leading the charge against what it sees as an attack on Christianity and civilization itself. In a strange twist of fate, the so-called news channel invites prominent Muslims to discuss the issue. Unsurprisingly, ICE agents were on hand to make sure everyone present was in the country legally. “I came to talk about Iceland and it turned out to be a brutal operation,” said one anonymous Muslim. "I should have known better."

President Trump is fueling wild fires of religious fear. Addressing the Red Meat Republicans at the rally, he pledged that the United States would fight for Jesus, Santa Claus, and the Easter Bunny:

In related news, an opinion poll, 85% of Republicans believe cutting benefits to the needy is necessary to build the Great Atlantic Wall.
