You've probably heard about cases of spontaneous combustion of people, which are clearly impossible to explain, although scientists have different versions of this phenomenon. Quite strange is what is often said about the safety of clothes and things that were worn on a person or were next to a suddenly flaming person.
There are even official cases, with witnesses, and they have been documented.
One of the references is in the pages of the "Encyclopedic Dictionary", which was published in Germany about 172 years ago. The story of a man named Melle and his wife is mentioned, who suddenly caught fire. At first, the spouse was suspected of a crime, but not a single piece of evidence was found in favor of the police version, and later it was revealed that the body was on fire from the inside.
Also mentioned is a priest named Bertoli, who caught fire literally in front of the parishioners. There were no burns on the skin, and most of the clothing remained on the body.
A strange incident happened in the 60s of the last century in the United States. A car was found with the bodies of 5 people. The car was parked at the edge of the highway, and doctors determined that the fire had occurred from the inside. Most of the clothing in public was also intact.
The next incident happened in 1985 with Paul Castila, and he caught fire right on the street in front of frightened passers-by. The floor remained alive and the fire disappeared as suddenly as it had appeared.

There are many other cases of this phenomenon. But why is this happening?
There are quite a few versions of this phenomenon, from quite ordinary to mystical. Curse, the action of otherworldly forces and even UFOs. Among experts from science there is a version about instant aging of the body, but it does not really fit into the version about spontaneous combustion.
So far, this phenomenon has not been practically studied and raises a huge number of questions.
