One American scientist does not exaggerate the role of the sun in the daily life of earthlings. He evaluates the star sensibly: yes, without her life will become difficult, but people will not die out. After the luminary goes out, the average temperature of the Earth will be set at around 17 degrees Celsius. Over time, they will gradually decrease until the ice age begins. When our planet turns into an ice kingdom, we can use the geothermal energy of volcanoes to heat the premises.
The problem is that in conditions of eternal cold, plants will not survive, and without them, as you know, oxygen will not be released. Consequently, people will begin to feel a lack of this substance. Those who are not affected by the changes are microorganisms: they are capable of multiplying and enjoying life in any environment, and even if people do die out, tired of the harsh conditions of the Ice Age, bacteria are able to evolve into a civilization that is more resistant to external stimuli.
